Adams Dairy Landing — Attraction in Blue Springs

This morning I did a review and thought I saved it..... Lost it!! Here I go again. I lived in Blue Springs back in the early 90's for approximately 3 years. Enjoyed it so much because it was a bicycle friendly city. If I didn't need to use my car ....I road my bicycle, went to do "light" shopping and it was great.

The other day I went to Adams Dairy Landing and to my amazement Blue Springs has grown. The last time I shopped there I just went straight to Michael's Craft and didn't take notice to anything else. I Just went in, out and home. Oh it was one of those days.

The other day I spent time in Blue Springs. I discovered their shopping area; Adams Dairy Landing...now one of my favorite places to shop. It felt as though everything was at my fingertips. Just like when I lived there back in the 90's. They have all the Big Anchor Stores and a fantastic selection of name brand speciality shops and eating establishments. There are at least 35 or more stores. It seems they have pods with a Big Anchor Store....amoung name brand and speciality shops. It was easily accessible and had everything I may need. The eating establishments .... a good selection and they also have the fast food standbys. I am looking forward to Holiday Shopping there. It would seem to be very festive.

Went to Walmart here and had a bad experience at the deli counter. When one of the 2 girls working behind the counter finally acknowledged us, she was very rude. Asking us what we needed then in snotty tone told us she had to help someone else because they were there first. There was no need to be snotty as we never said or did anything to indicate we were inpatient. But it got worse she started, helping the other customer getting her hot food, then decided it would be a fantastic idea to hold her food hostage while it was getting cold all to flirt with the guy that the other girl who was also supposed to be helping was flirting with. He bought nothing, and both girls ignored the rest of the customers for at least 10 minutes! Then the guy FINALLY left, and they could actually go back to the PAYING CUSTOMERS they had, so rudley had been ignoring! Then the girl takes over 25 minutes to actually slice 3 pounds of cheese! This is extremely poor service and hopefully will be dealt with...

Love the center sculpture! 5 stars to the sculptor! 👍Lots of my favorite stores here but can we talk about the entrances/exits here? Just the 1st entrance into the lot from Adam's dairy alone is a traffic nightmare. Its chronically backed up w/traffic from cars coming in/out even though there's a sign that says "No left turn" yet everybody does it anyways. Not sure what civil engineer planned this lot or the lot across from the super center on Coronado but they're truly the most annoying and cramped spaces I've encountered for places w such high traffic. Seems like they could have been better planned out to be more roomy and less confusing to traverse. Thumbs down to whomever drew up and approved these...
