My experience at this overpriced nail salon left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I decided to try dip nails for the first time, and despite having friends who had positive experiences with this salon, I was met with a series of unfortunate events.
From the start, I asked questions about the dip nails process to ensure I was well-informed and comfortable. The staff assured me that I would be taken care of. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse when the lady shaping my nails was rough and cut the side of my skin. Even then, I remained hopeful and politely pointed out that the dip was too thick.
To my surprise, instead of addressing my concerns, she brushed them off, barely filing my nails and applying a top coat. She advised me to wait for ten minutes before leaving. I persisted, expressing my dissatisfaction with the thickness, but she insisted it was my nail and refused to take corrective action.
One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience at this salon was when I suggested that we remove the dip and proceed with a regular manicure. The nail technician adamantly claimed that it would render my nails too fragile to handle any further treatment. This assertion left me feeling trapped and forced to accept nails that were far from what I had hoped for. It was a distressing and unprofessional response that only added to the overall disappointment of my visit.
Desperate for a solution, I requested a nail file so I could show her what I wanted. Her attitude turned sour, and she begrudgingly handed me a nail file. I spent three frustrating minutes filing one nail to demonstrate my desired outcome. In response, she did nothing but apply more top coat.
As I continued to voice my concerns, she began yelling at me, telling me it couldn't be fixed, and that I had to accept my nails as they were. I refused to pay for a botched job and insisted on rectifying the situation. She begrudgingly started removing the dip, all the while angrily speaking in another language to her colleagues. It was an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation.
In the end, I spent a hefty $55 on terrible nails that were uneven, overly thick, and had unsightly cuticles. With my boyfriend's ceremony the following day, I had no choice but to attend with these subpar nails. To add insult to injury, I now have an infection on one of my nails, making this visit the most disappointing nail experience of my life.
In summary, this salon's rude staff, overpriced services, and lack of professionalism resulted in a nightmarish experience that I will never forget. I would strongly advise anyone seeking a nail salon to look elsewhere for quality service and...
Read moreLet me explain why and it's pure lack of customer service...PERIOD! I needed a manicure, gel. Made an appt, came in 5 min early, woman seated me. She asked how I liked my nails, I said very square and please do not file too much I just filed last night. Okay, she starts with nail 1 and 2 and already she's rounding my edges, I politely ask her please make them square then on nail 3 all hell breaks loose...she begins to file my nail down and I pull my hand away and tell her again I dont want my nails filed please I want the length...This has NEVER been a problem at any salon, I have been going to various salons for 17 YEARS! The woman stands up says I can't do your nails, I have a certain quality that I must maintain and I can't let your nails be uneven(lenth)...after I clarified that I don't care if they are uneven (reason being I just started to grow them, they weren't long) She made a complete scene!! I was humiliated and I'm NOT that picky pain in the ass customer either, as I said never an issue anywhere before. So what does she do she walks over to another client completely ignoring me and I'm asking her...are you serious right now? So now what, I say? I literally thought she was telling me to leave her salon...and for what?!!! I'll get someone else to do your nails for you, I can't do them that way she says. I am just stunned at this womans attitude! Another very nice girl walks over, I tell her how I would like them friendly and nice like I did before and she completes my nails, no complaints. She did a great job but my experience was horrible! Come to find out this horrible woman I had the problem with is the MANAGER of the salon! I hope that if the owner is reading this (whether your family or not) this is UNEXCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR! I will never return to this salon...i'll find another one close by that knows how to treat their customers. And yes I paid $40 for that circus! For the record I tipped the girl very well who actually DID my nails. Good God that was...
Read moreAvoid this place! Worst salon I’ve been to in Boston and top 3 worst in my life!
I was treated by an old lady ( looks 65+). By looking at her own nails ( not even trim well), I lost my half confidence. Nevertheless, I desperately needed some mani/pedi, so I still went for it. Even added extra 35 for a luxurious package with whatever food bath and massages.
But at this moment, it had already taken me so much time that I really just wanted them to finish whatever so I can go.
I had to spend extra 20 mins drying my nails at the salon, still, it was too wet. My nails immediately chipped after I left the salon. My nails looked so bad during my dinner right after the salon. I not only wasted $85 and my precious 2.5 hr (!!) in this ridiculously bad manicure.
My nails looked so bad that I spent another 1 hr removing them next day and applying a new color by myself ( which btw, looks so much better!)
Total waste my time and money. Zero star.
Btw, they also tried to get me pay cash by using the ATM inside ( with a ridiculous fee if you use a credit card). Fortunately. the guy at the front desk told me I can use my credit card ( otherwise, I’ll have to pay another $14 fee just to get...
