Honestly I have mixed reviews about the store I found the location to be very convenient for me because I live in Boston the store is very clean when I walked in it was well organized so for the store I would say 5/5 the sales floor team 4/5 the cashier 0/5 which is why my overall rating was a 3/5 I was able to find the products myself there was one item I was not sure about I did have to approach a sales person but she was very friendly and helped me find the closest product to what I was looking for due to the item that I was looking for was out of stock. The chip on my debit card does not work so most stores I go to require me to place the card in the slot 3 times and then swipe. I told the girl(Aisling) at the register this she looked at me as if I had five heads and insisted that I cannot do that so I simply asked her can she please put in the card number I swear she put in fake numbers then told me that it didn’t work she made me feel as if I was trying to run a scam or my card did not have enough money on it which it did. Thank God I had cash on me after paying her when she was giving me my change she pulls me over to the side and tells me “ next time you shop with us please make sure that you have a card that has a working chip because our machines only take the chips inside the slot if there’s a chip on it otherwise we cannot process your payment”, the way she spoke to me made me feel embarrassed because there was customers waiting behind me and they probably thought I had payment issues as the last person in the store that a customer sees she needs to have better customer service. And FYI I went to target right after and I was able to use my debit card. I don’t want to use a race card all black people are not the same just because you may have had a bad experience with one customer don’t associate that...
Read moreI’m a diamond status at Ulta, and the experience is always more than wonderful, but this specific location was disappointing.
First of all, the store seems to be extremely short-staffed. I needed help finding specific products, and usually consultants come swarming at you with “Do you need any help today?”, as soon as you enter the store, but I had a hard time finding even one person to help. The only person available was busy cleaning (and I assume she was a service provider, as she was stationed at the lash station), so she just gave me directions, which weren’t as helpful.
When it was time to check out, I wanted to validate my points and use them on my purchase. It took 7-10 minutes to contact the manager for authorisation of the points, apparently, because his talkie was off. The consultant was extremely apologetic, while the manager seemed nonchalant about the situation.
Thank you to two people at the checkout area for helping and getting the manager. Management, please please, schedule more people for shifts and make sure the managers are there, as the service here was a notch...
Read moreI placed an online order, okay so I was a little bit early upon arrival for pick up, first I was ignored at the register, mind you the store manager was just laughing and gossiping with other cashiers, while I patiently waited, finally I said something after 4 minutes of waiting. I told her I had an online pickup she asked for I.D. I presented it, she went to get order, I waited while she went to so call look she continued to gossip , she came over to me and asked for the email confirmation stating it was ready for pickup. I showed my email she then says oh! It's not ready, I kindly said fine I will grab it myself, walked to the back.of the store grabbed the Product, proceeded to cashier. I'm pissed because with my pur case I was supposed to receive a free gift, not only did I not receive the free gift, when I asked the manager she said oh that's for online orders, omg! Is she not hearing herself, it was an online line order that I had to pick myself in her gossiping expletive store. I am filing a claim on this particular store, because I believe the manager kept my free gift....
