Been coming to see Jerry for the past seven years each time we come to Branson we donât miss his show. But we seen it yesterday and I must say it wasnât one of his better shows at all. It was Elvis gospel, but in the beginning weâre the Blackwoods where a lady of the group, proceeded to tell a long drawn out story about her boutďżź with cancer, and how she survived it. Happy that she is cancer free but didnât want to sit and listen to a 20 minute story about her cancer and how sick she became with a back screen of her entire family. When we go on vacation we want it to be upbeat and have a good time I donât want to be drawn down by somebodyâs sad story. Not saying I donât have any empathy because I seriously do itâs just when I go and see a show and pay decent money to see it I donât expect to be feeling all down in the dumps within the first 20 minutes of the show. Jerry performed for a bit , seemed extremely bored with the whole show, like I said wasnât one of his better shows, just seemed a little off and when he finished his last song he walked off the stage, we were sitting there wondering if he was coming back, but he never did never said anything ,,,just gone. I must say we will not be going to another one of his shows, not to mention my mom is in a wheelchair and had to go to the bathroom terribly bad at 90 years old with a weak bladder, Could not get her through the bathroom door very narrow and not handicap accessible. We got her out the car and she urinated her pants and was very embarrassed. What a horrible experience...

He came out at least 15 minutes before the show and entertained the audience while we waited for the show to start. He explained that he started as a stand-up comedian, and you can tell in the way that he knows how to work the room. Before the show he "met" the audience, answered all kinds of questions, and introduced himself as a performer. Throughout the show, he continued to engage the audience. If he knows you're trying to take pictures, he will come over and pose right in front of you, he shakes hands as he sings, and he encourages you to sing along on the most popular songs. Oh, and watch for the costume changes. ;) He also tells stories about Neil Diamond throughout the show, tells his own story which leads to a surprise during the duet, does several other impressions for you, and even works in some comedy with his back-up band. His band is also quite impressive with long lists of popular performers they have played back-up for. Bogey, the guitarist is hilarious and a great addition to the show. The two drummers are also quite comical and it's fun to watch them get into their performances. All around, the Neil Diamond tribute is a top notch show and my favorite of the three I saw while in Branson. I highly...
Read moreMy wife and I were on a road trip from Ventura and went to the Johnny Cash tribute show, with artist Dan Wagner...the artist was great and just a wonderful man and performer. We had a wonderful time clapping and singing along to the Cash songs and Dan truly loves and respects Cash as it reflects in his songs and stories. He is a very kind hearted father and supporter of veterans. There was a great female tribute singer who came in at times to do June/Johnny''s Jackson song, as well as Loretta Lynn, and Olivia newton john...the whole band was great and some had actually shared the stage with Cash in the past...the Dan did a moving rendition of Johnny's tribute to this old flag that included his friends and family who had served in the military...if you want a true ,giving of himself, Johnny Tribute artist, Dan Wagner is worth going to see and it would be a great family safe show for kids..just a truly kind human who loves to give you a feeling of what Johnny Cash was like to watch...and just out of his giving spirit he gave me the most awesome guitar that is amazing...it was a very special gesture and is very indicative of his kindness... .we will definately return when we are...
