*$6 lunch specials that include rice and beans *$9.50 Mexican buffet *beautiful inside and out * friendly *free dessert!! *not the supersized burritos I’ve come to expect at Mexican places (good or bad? You decide) *okay salsa (my kids loved it though and ended up eating theirs with a spoon!) *no really spicy sauce, they gave us Tapatio :( Beautiful interior to this restaurant makes for a great atmosphere. Artfully carved and painted chairs and tables. **The burritos aren’t the huge ones that I’ve come to expect from Mexican restaurants but that was okay with me since I can never finish those things anyway. All but one of us got something off the “specials” menu and our total for 6 people had my husband checking over the receipt to make sure they hadn’t forgotten to add anything on to it. The service was friendly and our guests were impressed that our waitress got our entire order correct without writing any of it down. We couldn’t find a kids menu so the kids ate my rice and beans and I ordered a side of tortillas for them. The waitress brought a book for them to read/look at while we waited. We had an exceptional experience here and will be returning. I also walked through their buffet before leaving and there was a lot of food and a lot of options. It looked like it would definitely be worth the stop if you have a couple hungry people.

The food was good...but sometimes it's the extras that make a meal. Restaurant seating was clean and spacious. Especially liked the colorful painted tables and chairs. I ordered a super chicken burrito and hubby ordered steak fajitas. I enjoyed my burrito, but hubby was disappointed with the fajitas. First, he ordered extra cheese, which he never received. Second, he requested both flour and corn tortillas, but only received 2-flour shells. Third, his order included only a tiny dab of guacamole... barely enough to make 1-fajita.

Great food for the price. Full plates and freshly cooked food. Our server was polite, friendly, and quick. We had the 3 shredded beef tacos with rice and beans, and a cheeseburger and fries- the food was delicious and very filling. The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant is spacious and A.D.A. compliant , with lots of room to maneuver.

Wow! Not even sure where to start! It took the waitress about 20 minutes to even take our order. After we ordered, we eavesdropped a conversation between the waitress and some customers that were seated two tables down. Apparently they ordered $15 plates and when it was time for check out, the waitress told them the prices were wrong and times were hard. She explained to them that the menu was in the process of being updated and the prices listed were incorrect. Apparently she had charged an extra $2 for each of the dishes without letting them know the price change beforehand. After overhearing their conversation.... we decided to get our food to-go. When our food was ready, the same waitress did the exact same thing to us. Each of our plates cost an additional $2 more than the prices listed in the menu. She used the same sob story about how times were hard and things cost more. For a meal that should have cost us $56, we paid $64. I called her out on her dishonesty and told her this was false advertisement and completely unethical. I also told her I would write a nasty review about her and her restaurant, to which she replied, "Thank you, go ahead and do that!" After traveling for 6 hours in the car, our family of five was in no mood to start a fight with someone who really didn't care about customer service. So we picked up our to-go items and handed her the $64... no tip, especially after that transaction and her incredibly dishonest and rude attitude. We justified that for that price their food must be fabulous. Unfortunately, we were hugely disappointed. The food was awful. I've eaten better food at taco bell.... and it would have cost 75% less. Needless to say, we won't be back to La...

I never leave reviews but, here it goes. Was just here for the first and last time. I was the only one in there. I got this funny feeling about that but decided to stay put. The interaction from the hostess set alarms off right off the bat. No eye contact, no smile, and an aura as if she just wanted to get away from me! I must stink or something lol.. Any how, she brings me chips and salsa, drops them on the table and again no eye contact. She just puts them down and turns the other way and gone! Speaking of the chips and salsa, the most bland I have ever tasted. The salsa has zero salt and is super watered down! Speaking of salt, look at the pictures in the other reviews.. No salt, no pepper, no nothing on any of the tables! Then the woman in charge comes to ask if I want anything to drink? I said " no I will just stick with water". I then look her in the eye and I swear to all, I can't make this up! She had this look on here face as if she was thinking "Did you read the bad reviews?" LOL I ordered my food and then because the interaction was so pour and just downright awkward, I began to read reviews... Oh boy did I get scared! I ate 2 chips and no thanks, I ate half the meal and again zero salt whatsoever. I paid for the meal and was on my way. By the time I got to the bridge, began having shooting pains inside my intestines! This continued for my whole trip home 2.5 hours. Save...
