This was our favorite art gallery in town. His paintings are mostly of natural scenes of the area, and they are what I would call photo realistic but with added visual elements. I don’t have an art vocabulary, so I don’t know what to call it. One print we bought had shapes that seemed transparent as though you were looking through glass with reflections in places. That’s how it seemed to me. He said that’s not what he was thinking of when he painted it, but he likes to add shapes to the scenes. I think I’m making his art sound weird. But the visual elements are not dominent. They make you keep looking, examining for details. His paintings are gorgeous.
