Mountain Wookies — Attraction in Cañon City

They got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty. They also got whozits and whatzits galore. Talk about thingamabobs, they got so many! The exterior makes it only that much easier to find. On their front window, they display they have Glass, vapes, tapestries, gifts, gems, minerals, clothing, and weapons. That is just the toe of the sasquatch. Incense, essential oils, candles, massage stones, backflow cones, didgeridoos, hand fans, dragon and fairy figures, scented sprays, jewelry, crystals, gems, fossils, perfume bottles, feathers, mortar, and pestle, singing bowl, dream catchers, tapestries, and glass lamps. Weapons include axes, knives, swords, daggers, whips, throwing stars, nunchucks, and more. Clothing includes tees, a-tops, sweaters, skirts, tye-dye, pants, an entire sock wall of laughs, and then some! Did I mention glass? They have a huge room dedicated strictly to hookah and smoking pipes! You must see it to admire all the beautiful colors and craftsmanship there. Artists poured their talent into those pieces. They do have an Instagram you can follow too! @mountainwookiescolorao I would also like to mention the staff is phenomenal. Excellent customer service and friendliness. There was a key that caught my eye, but they belonged to specially made locks. After sorting through them with staff, they decided the one I wanted was a spare, and they were willing to sell it to me for a reasonable price. I gave this establishment four stars as this was my first visit. I expect that rating to make five with ease.. I've been visiting (It's not a head shop...its a " Boutique of Cool." Lotsa traditional gear expected in "counter ( counter) culture stores...tie dye...many; seriously...Many shirts, hats, scarves, jewelry, hand made goods out the yin, with a yang fulla beadwork and craftycool items. There's knives...okay...but...knives are tools, collectables, pretty buff looking...and can be a factor in surviving an attack by random lunatic/ lunatics. Then for the Folks such as I...there is a well stocked room full of pipes, papers, dab supplies, etc, etc. Very sweet with something for every budget...( damn... sound like a 70's car salesperson) really! Staff is friendly, funny, quick with answers, advice...and sharp wit, for the astute observer of comedy and human nature. Plus took my name and number for quick notification of arrival of requested merchandise. Customer Service, remember that...if not head on down to Mountain Wookies....you'll like it. If not Ill gladly refund the time spent reading this review.

I have been coming to the store since I moved to Canon City 8 years ago. Unfortunately, the customer service recently at this location has really been going downhill. Their stock is great, and some of their employees are friendly and helpful. One of the current managers, Sean, is very condescending when he speaks to customers and I always feel like I am being corrected on what I am in the store for. I recently brought in a faulty product that I purchased at the Colorado Springs location for a refund, and it took 15 minutes to get anybody to help with the refund, and then once the refund was done Sean acted as though I was no longer there and continued to talk to the owner about how frustrating the refund was due to the changes in sales tax between El Paso and Fremont county. A completely different woman had to tell me that I was good to go and that I was welcome for the service. On previous occasions, when I have come in for nectar tip replacements, etc, Sean has questioned what I am looking for and told me that I am incorrect and that I am actually looking for a different product. He constantly upsells me. I am genuinely considering just going to the Colorado Springs location from now on, because I am really over being...
