Less than one Star! My experience with Academy was nothing but a Terrible experience due to incopadence & total lack of customer service! or Bad training. You don't have to worry about your getting a parking spot in your lot, in comparison to your competition there in your town. Their lots were packed?? Maybe you should check out why? I called this store the day before. (3- times) Just so I didn't have to waste my time Because I'm Old & Disabled and really don't like to drive that far.(about 140 miles round trip) Anyway checked at the Gun counter for availability, later called back talked to manager* to make sure they were in stock and correct Mossberg/Defender long tube 12 gage pistol grip (only) I explained my situation to him and asked him if he would please double check to confirm availability!?! Your Manager responded: We had it on a in store special and he knew that they had several of the right Ones* and that the gun dept. was at the back of the store(??, So what!! If nothing else he already had a phone in his hands) but anyway, he sounded intelligent & confident. SO the next morning, I drove all the way down and Guess What? No gun! Well we can order it! Totally B.S. , I'm Pissed 😡 . I walked around the store trying to find something else to buy, not to waste all my time and gas, but I couldn't find anyone to help me so I got even More upset. So I decided to tell your: Manager......He was corgel, and told me that he would get his side of the story and get Right back to me....OK! Well that was 9-days ago!! Nada! Nothing, Completely Blew me off!! Thanks for the Great Costumer Service!! I checked with your competitors in that town and then returned to the Big city and went to (Rob's Gun's) and ordered and paid for a New Mossberg. Defender Pistol grip only/shotgun. As Store owners you have to Know that: "I'm not the only One!" Maybe you need to stress that: Every Customer is important**, we pay your paychecks! & Support your friend & family!! And Our Country! Every time I go in there’s one register open, and 4-5 associates standing up front. When I ask anyone in there a question it seems I am pulling teeth. A gentleman named Dylan that works on the front end is the only associate that takes his job seriously.
