I had a very disappointing experience at this Kay Jewelers location. From the moment I walked in, the associate's attitude was unwelcoming and cold—even though I was the only customer in the store. There was no smile, no greeting, just an irritated demeanor that made me feel like I was an inconvenience.
When I tried to hand her my paperwork for a bi-annual inspection (which I know is typically required), she abruptly said, “I don’t need your paperwork.” Moments later, after searching for my information and looking at the ring, she realized I was an outside customer and then asked for the same paperwork she had just dismissed.
She proceeded to handle the inspection with visible annoyance, sighing and huffing while making a call to the store where I originally purchased the ring. After hanging up, she realized she hadn’t completed all the necessary documentation and had to make another call, clearly frustrated the entire time.
To top it off, she didn’t even properly examine my ring—which is the whole point of the inspection. I now feel the need to drive over 100 miles to another location just to ensure the ring was truly checked for any loose stones or damage.
I will not return to this store if I have to interact with this associate again. The lack of basic customer service and professionalism was unacceptable. I most certainly will never buy...
Read moreMy husband and I put my third ring to my wedding set on MY Kay's card for our 5th anniversary. Went so well we got money off with the sale they were running and thier manager was even the one who waited on us. When the ring came in I was never notified like told, and was told when we bought it it would be sent off immediately to be sized. Called after 3 weeks of hearing nothing to find out it was sitting in a drawer ready to be picked up. Again never notified. Went to pick it up from the store like I was told to do, with my driver's license and the store clerk would not give it to me. Again I paid with MY card and had already made a payment on MY card, and was denied my merchandise. I was told that the original ring receipt was under my name but when the manager sent it off for sizing they put it under my husbands name. My husband works out of town and the manager conveniently was out of town as well, so I have to wait several more days before we can even get the ring. My husband tried calling the store because he works out of town 11 day stretches, and they denied him as well. Utterly baffled at the fact that they will let me pay for it but they wouldn't give it to me on thier error. And the store clerk I dealt with was rude....
Read moreWe are a military family and travel a lot. The last time I had service done at a different Kays my wedding ring got pretty much butchered. It was not in a good shape anymore. The band was stretched way too thin on the bottom and other things with the settings for the diamonds were taken care of in a way that made this expensive ring look like a cheap ring out of a vending machine. I kind of had lost my hope in Kays and in their quality service they used to provide. Anyways fast forward. We arrived in Cape and it was time to have my 6 month service done. Mr. Kia was very friendly. My too stretched ring band had finally given in and cracked so my ring got sent off to get fixed. I had very little hope and didn’t expect much of a pretty outcome. When the ring arrived back fixed I was blown away. Not only did they solder the ring back together but they restored the actual thickness of the band and turned it back into a Leo diamond ring what it should have been all along.
