Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Cape Girardeau

First timer! I had the 8" Reuben Sandwich, Med Homemade Fries & Unsweet Tea w/Fresh Lemon (NOT LEMON JUICE FROM A PKT THANK YOU JESUS)!!!! The Reuben was so right on with the right amount of sauerkraut, cheese, corned beef right down to the great tasting bread! I've never had thousands island dressing on this style of Reuben before so they suggested putting it on the side so I could give it a whirl, I did try it, just didn't really care for it! To me it just didn't need a condiment. It tasted that AWESOME 😋The homemade fries were just to die for so delicious, cook perfectly they were made from real potatoes that was sitting in a bin waiting to be cut to perfection and then fry with the skins on them! Yum-Yum just like you made from home but only better of course because you don't have to make them yourself!! The Penn Station Crew was FANTABULOUS from the time we walked in the door till we left! A very welcoming atmosphere! If you've never eat'n there before try it, You'll wish you had! Great Food Thank You Penn Station for making my 1st visit a memorable one!...

My family and I came to have lunch together. As we ordered our food Regan questioned in a rude tone if we needed three drinks instead of two since there were three of us. To which I said, “No I will just have a water”. Then our food came up but it was loud in the restaurant due to the people talking and the kitchen making food. Regan had apparently walked out of the kitchen and said our name one time and my family looked at each other wondering if that was our name being called. She brought out 2/3 sandwiches and went back to get the other sandwich of our order. As she called our name again, we turned around and she dropped off the food saying “next time I say your name, raise your hand because I couldn’t find you all”. Wish I could say she said it nicely but coming from 2 former servers and a current server, her tone was extremely uncalled for. So my dad went up to get our fires, since she didn’t bring those out at the time. I am not someone to complain and I understand having a bad day. But coming from a family of servers, we are extremely disappointed...

So yesterday me and my friend who is African-American went into the station to get a sandwich fries cookies and a drink Mind you I have never been to the station before we wanted something different to eat I Told the employee that I wanted a Pepsi he told me that I feel my drink up myself I went to go pay for my order went to the drinking fountain to fill my cup up and seeing customers behind me and they got their cup filled up behind the counter I felt like it was a bit of discrimination in there while eating our meals an employee came out with cookies stating to us that every Tuesday if you dine in you will get a free cookie I feel like they only did the free cookie because they did not want a bad review I felt a little bit of racism in this restaurant but the sandwich was very tasty But I wanna go back I would have gotten better service at Subway Location Cape...
