I had a very pleasant shopping experience with Makayla at this store. While in store, I purchased a shirt, a pair of pants and put three pairs of jeans in layaway. When I left I called my mother in law to tell her how positive my experience was and how nice the store was. This store is about 50 miles from my regular store. In fact, my shopping experience with Makayla was so pleasant that I called back and spoke with Assistant Manager Leeann Goin. She thanked me for leaving positive feedback. Letâs flash forward to the negative part that happened 48 hours later. Mrs Goins called my local store, who I spoke with three days prior to my Cape trip. I had a pair of Free People Jayde pants that my mom purchased for me but bought in the wrong color(with no sensor on btw). I l called my local store to let them know and Skylar said he would gladly take care of me. The problem is, I have two kids in school sports and one of them does travel ball on top of that and working full time, itâs hard to find some time for shopping. We were in Cape for baseball so I took the opportunity to hopefully exchange the pants for something else because my mom got the wrong color. Leeann tried to find it by her phone number, email, and my email/phone number with no such luck. My mom checked out as a guest and never got an email so I am truly not sure what went wrong but they arrived at her house. She was unable to locate the purchase regardless. This store didnât even have these pants for sale so her later accusing me of stealing them was impossible and insulting. So she told me she couldnât do anything about the pants. I wasnât mad. I didnât say anything except I would help my mom hopefully find it later. I was in great spirits even though I had pants that I didnât want. I left with what I thought was a great experience. Leeann however took it upon herself to warn my local store who was already aware of the situation to be on the lookout for me. Are you kidding me? I mean if weâre being honest you didnât look styled up enough to be working at the Buckle let alone be a manager but thatâs neither here nor there. I had a friend shopping at my local store at the time of her call so luckily I was informed about it. I was talked bad about, made to feel about an inch tall and I want people to know how special LeeAnn made me feel. I will post a receipt of my purchase since she doubted me so much. I am a busy mom who has loved the Buckle for two decades. When I go to the Buckle, local or not, itâs an escape and I enjoy it. Itâs definitely a guilty pleasure but never in my life have I been so insulted by someone who works at a nice retail store. She was nice to my face but man did she turn on me. Beware of Leeann. Sincerely, not...
Read moreWas at the Buckle Cape Girardeau location. I had intended to purchase shoes and a necklace.
I say the items on the check out for Emma to scan. She scanned my shoes. Then she asks if I was purchasing the necklace.
Really, why would I place a necklace on the counter if I didn't intend to purchase. Her lack of common sense just didn't sit well with me
I am surprised she charged my card for the shoes. Not too bright that Emma. The Buckle needs to train their employees in common sense.
Calling the corporate office wasn't much better. I had to call back 15 times to repeat the same incident description.
The CEO needs to be made aware of the lack of common sense and idiocy running amuck...
