My experience was really disheartening. I walked in and young man was preparing food. We made eye contact but never acknowledged me. There was a young lady standing at the back of the facility and it was obvious that she was talking to someone. We also made eye contact not once, but twice. She too never acknowledged me.
I had been standing there approximately 2-3 minutes when another customer walked in. The young man who was preparing the food called for someone "to come to the front."
The young woman who was at the back of the facility came up and immediately asked the other customers if she could take his order. She didn't even bother to ask which of us were next. I immediately stopped her and informed her that I was next. At which point she didn't even apologize. The other customer apologized. But your employee never said a word. I told the other customer that he go ahead because I had actually lost my train of thought. After a few seconds I just left because I was so taken aback.
The thing that was so disheartening was, I'm a Black man and the young man who was preparing the food was white. The young woman who made eye contact with me twice was also Black. But when she was summoned to the front to take orders she immediately addressed the other customer, who was white.
It's sad to see that in 2021 the playing field for common courtesy is...
Read moreWorse service I have ever had at a white castle.......it was super slow and all the trash cans outside were over flowing with trash I went to use the bathroom the trash was overflowing and the cans in the lobby were full we wondered our food which was a crave case with no onions the worker asked if I was sure i wanted that because it would take time for them to scrap the onions off and it may take longer if they get busy...i said yes I still want them ......we went to sit down and found the only table that looked clean.....now let me say not one person was in the place and we only saw one person come through the drive thru....we set there for 20 min ....there were also 2 other workers in the back a guy was talking to someone in another room through a door then he walked around on his phone while it was on speaker phone holding it up to his mouth.......now tell me why it took 20 min for 2 people to make my food when not a soul was in the place are drive thru and 2 other people could have helped them make it.....im never one to complain but this was by far the worse service I have ever...
Read moreOrdered through drive thru, the worker said "pull up for your total" which seemed strange instead of telling me at the speaker. Once I got to the window he said "just so you know the impossible sliders are going to take about 5 minutes" as if he wanted me to tell him not to worry and change my order to something more convenient for him, which I said it was fine because I'm vegetarian. He has us pull up and wait so he could help those behind us (there wasn't even anyone behind us immediately). We waited at least 15 minutes before my boyfriend went in to check on it. They had forgotten about our order. They hadn't even began making it and 5-6 other cars had already came and left through drive thru. No one apologized. They are clearly under staffed and I have some sympathy for that - but that is no excuse to forget an order. DON'T ASK CUSTOMERS TO PULL FORWARD IF YOU ARE GOING TO...
