T.J. Maxx — Local services in Cape Girardeau

Used to love this place but went here today and got the worse service ever. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by employees and felt like all of them chased us out. We arrived at 9:10 knowing they close at 9:30 but wanted to get a new outfit for work tomorrow before closing. The workers were cussing and complaining about us being there and one of them even came up to us and was telling us that they were waiting for us to leave. Because feeling so uncomfortable we ending up putting all of our items back, got in the car and left at 9:19. This was my first TJMAX experience, and I wasn’t overwhelmed but I wasn’t impressed either. Long racks of clothes, you have to dig thru them, instead of like items together with various sizes. That alone is a hassle to go thru. That yells garage sale marketing to me. No organization. Reminds me of MARSHALLS. Only employees I saw was behind the registers. They were friendly, that’s it checked you out and onto the next. I know I more than likely will never return, I’d rather Kohls , JCPennies there prices are probably cheaper than TJMAXX a lot of things. I will never go to TJ Maxx again. I bought something last September and the sales lady talked me into taking their credit card. I forgot all about the card and it never came anyway. I never heard anything about it until a couple of months ago. By that time I owed for the original purchase and interest on top of that. I didn't get the card so how can they charge me interest. This is a pretty poor way to treat your customers. I talked to tj Maxx and the bank that handles their accounts. Shame on...
