Perfect for what I was looking for, which was a quiet place to lay out with my dog where we wouldn't encounter many people or dogs and could just relax.
My dog and I normally walk 5 miles each day. But he recently injured himself and is on a greatly reduced exercise regimen of 7 minute walks a couple of times a day.
Heater park had just the right amount of sidewalk for two 7 minute walks (one when we go there and the other when we left) with a perfect shady spot to set-up in-between.

Read moreVery small. No dedicated parking. I parked on the side of the road. I enjoyed this little park mostly because no one else was there. They supply dog bags and have benches/trash cans. There is a nice little brook that my dog had fun jumping around and in. No rules listed anywhere. I tossed a ball around with my dog to get him so exercise before a road trip. Read moreDefinitely a very small park, keep in mind there is no parking also so you have to be kind of savvy in finding a place to park on the street. Also I came here to read a book next to the stream and the benches are strategically placed next to all the trash cans so it's not a very pleasant aroma while sitting on the benches.
