Cary Arts Center has done an excellent job in upgrading their facility inside and outside. I have not visited since C-19 in March 2020 where I was supposed to perform in April 2020. It was delightful to view outside as well as inside. The environment was very clean, easily accessible to handicapped patrons and booster seats for small children to view the stage comfortably. The performers in Motown Sound of Music from Pure Life Theatre had great use of the large stage, concession stand availability, and an excellent system for scanning patrons' tickets in a timely manner. I highly recommend this facility for performances and special events.

Today we had an orchestra concert hosted here, the experience is absolutely first class, the magnificent building with art pieces all around it. The auditorium is equipped with amazing huge background display, which gives superb performance environment for our concert. My daughter’s ballet dance school hosts annual recital performance here, we enjoyed each time very much. Cary elementary is beside it, parking is very relaxing during the weekend. It is spring now, love the plants and flowers too. Feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful facility in the town of Cary.

The Cary Arts Center is a vibrant and transformative hub for creativity, culture, and connection. It stands as a testament to the power of the arts in bringing a community together. One of the center's greatest strengths is its inclusivity. It offers a wide range of programs and classes that cater to all ages and skill levels. Whether you're an experienced artist or a novice looking to explore your creative side, there's something for everyone. The center's commitment to inclusivity ensures that the arts are accessible to all, regardless of background or experience. The center's facilities are top-notch, with well-equipped studios, galleries, and performance spaces. This fosters an environment where artists can truly excel and express themselves. The community is fortunate to have such a resource, allowing individuals to explore various art forms, from painting and sculpture to dance and music. Beyond the programs and resources, the community arts center plays a significant role in promoting cultural diversity and fostering a sense of belonging. It hosts exhibitions, performances, and events that celebrate the rich tapestry of our community. The center is a gathering place where residents come together to share their creativity and experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed the play “A Sherlock Carol” presented here. There are only 6 actors playing multiple roles and each character was unique with a different personality & different accent, too! These actors are amazing; how they keep up the energy throughout the performance, providing vital clues in this fun mash-up of “Sherlock Holmes” meets “A Christmas Carol.” If you are a fan of either original story (or both), you’ll love this intertwining of a favorite story line with a twist. The Cary Arts center is a remodeled high school (which you would never know). The seats are super comfortable and each row is raised, so everyone has a good view. The quality of the sound, lighting & sets are very, very good. It was our first time here and we were greeted warmly by September, who chatted with us prior to the show starting (in-between helping other ticket holders arriving & working with other playhouse staff). She was warm, friendly and recommended some great spots to check out in the area. Such a great experience! I highly recommend checking this place out! Get your tickets early, shows sell...

While in Cary, one should not miss Cary Arts Center which is located in heart of the city just opposite Downtown Park. The Center is downtown hub of the arts activity for Cary. It’s legacy began in 1870s when Town of Cary founder Allison Frances Page opened Cary Academy initially as Cary High School. It has got reasonably good facilities which includes a 431 seat theatre. It has got multi purpose activities which includes classes and camps, events and performances. Gallery exhibitions, history and public art, open studio programs, performance programs and host of other activities. One can also get its space on rent. Parking is available. Its main building has got three floors where most of its activities take place. Theatre is located on...
