I was a loyal chase customer for almost 10 years. A year ago, there was fraudulent activity on my account and someone got into my account and deposited a large amount of money through a check. The account was closed and I chose to bank somewhere else. I recently opened a new account with chase almost a week ago because I had such a good experience with Chase for years and I honestly missed banking with them. Without informing me, my account was locked and they made the final decision to close my account and terminate their relationship with me. I didn’t receive any other information regarding this decision and I am absolutely dumbfounded and irate. I’m not sure where this bank gets off thinking they can tell customers their account is closing and giving no further explanation. First they took almost 3 weeks to send me my debit card for my business which was an extreme inconvenience having to run to the bank every time I needed to buy something or pay my guys. Now the next thing they hit me with is they are constantly putting my checks on hold so I have to call them every morning and battle for at least an hour to get my checks off of hold. Then I call this branch and one of the workers lies to me about the hold. Read moreI’ve been a Chase customer for almost 20 years at this juncture. Since dealing with this particular branch, as well as the phone-based customer support that ensued thereafter - I will be closing all of my accounts with Chase and bringing my banking business elsewhere, moving forward.
The employees at this branch seemingly go out of their way to make the experience with Chase difficult, are immensely uninformed - coming across as though doing their job is of great inconvenience to them.
Abominable experience across the board, the result being many hours of my time having been wasted.
