Tidewater Tours — Attraction in Cedar Key

Did not take this tour. Drove up from Homosassa to check out Cedar Key area. Expected to be able to just walk in an sign up for a tour, hopefully for that non-weekend day. First, the gm link brings you to the pier where their boat will be to take the tour, there is no building at all! Then no one answered the phone! Walked around the "key" for a couple of hours. Finally saw the boat pull up, and went over to check. Turns out the "captain" gets his "list" first thing in the am, and cannot make any changes regarding walk ups. Too bad. My Fiancé and I had such a fun time and awesome adventure with This company 😍. Phil and his sweet daughter were so kind !!! My Fiancé and I chose the Island Taxi where were taxied over to and dropped off at Otsena Otie Key. We were the only people on the cool Island and really enjoyed strolling and taking it all in. We really enjoyed the old cemetery. It was shocking to find out that so many buried there had passed on at a early age, under the age of 30 or 25 !!! It's actually a ghost town that I actually didn't know about. There is so much history about this special little Island. Wonderful tour. The Captain is funny and kind as well as knowledgeable. The ride was smooth and though the sun shined bright we were cool and shaded under the canopy of the boat. We toured the keys in the area and hopped out to explore a sand bar. Wear shorts or a bathing suit if you plan on enjoying the water. Dolphins escorted us beside and behind the boat for over a mile. The videos we took are amazing. We could have reached out and touched them. The price is absolutely unbeatable.
