If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to my grooming appointment with Rick for my almost 2 year old puppy and my 12 year old senior dog, both standard schnauzers and the treatment my dogs and I received by him is not per the standard I’ve received before at petsmart, I normally go to another groomer but as that groomer didn’t have availability soon, I decided to try with this petsmart, and I regret it terribly. My puppy was a bit anxious, however she wasn’t showing signs of agression, like barking or growling, just whining and staying behind me, my daughter and our senior dog staying away from the people. The moment we walked in for the appointment he started telling us a speech that sounded rehearsed and almost like he was reading from something however we had never been read this speech before at any other petsmart. The speech boiled down that if our dog was to present herself as aggressive, scratch, bite or broke skin he would have to report us and have our dog put down. If you think it sounds exaggerated it is not, there was not an ounce of sympathy or regret for saying this speech that was ruthless and cold, I don’t understand how a person who works with dogs could be confident when saying that a dog would be put down. Due to his actitud towards the whole situation I decided that my puppy couldn’t be groomed there and he even suggested that my puppy should be sedated for her grooming appointments which to my understanding it’s not recommendable for dogs the age of my puppy and senior dog. There is witnesses both between the grooming staff and the staff of the store that my dogs were not aggressive at any point as I was leaving from the place. Normally I would’ve left it at that, it was a bad experience but I didn’t allow it to go far enough for me to leave a review or even put a complaint with the store. What made me place this review and complaint is that when I went to put an appointment with their usual groomer to my surprise there is a ban to my account that cited my dogs as aggressive and that they couldn’t be groomed at any petsmart store placed by Rick. I think that the only aggressive one throughout this whole interaction was Rick who retaliated against me and my dogs after canceling the appointment with him by lying and putting a ban on my account. I think the aggressive one is the man who can speak about putting down dogs without any remorse or care. I think the aggressive one is the man who abuses his power to retaliate against someone who even offered reimbursement for having cancelled last minute on her appointment. People like him should not work with animals nor in positions that they can use their power to look down on people who got anxious and decided to leave. Now I understand the embarrassment and sadness on the faces of the other employees when I was speaking with Rick. I hope this all made sense, English is not my first language and I hope the message comes across. It does make me wonder if he thought he could do this because I wouldn’t be able to defend myself with my broken...

If I could give the Grooming department negative stars, I would. First and foremost I had a horrible time trying to book appointments for my dogs online so I decided to call directly. After finally reaching someone, I was left on hold and then disconnected. A couple of days later I was in the shopping center and decided that I would probably have better luck scheduling them in person.

I walked into the salon and waited more than five minutes to even be greeted. Once greeted I requested to schedule two dogs on one day, and one dog on another. The girl behind the counter looked at me like I was speaking German. She clearly could not comprehend what I was asking. After explaining to her several times and believing there was a solid understanding, I left with an 8 AM appointment for an express bath for my Boston, a drop off for my terrier, and an express the next day for my boxer. Whew, that was work.

The day of my appointment I rounded up my two littles and got to PetSmart ten minutes before 8. I waited in line behind a woman in the salon (COVID distancing) while the ladies in the salon chatted it up for 15 minutes. I finally made it in and low and behold my Boston was never scheduled. The woman behind the counter kept saying I, me, I didn't schedule the Boston. I explained politely that I was just in the salon, in person, and scheduled both days on the same day. It wasn't until she completely disregarded my frustrations that I got upset. She argued with me and proceeded to cut me off about whether or not I wanted to schedule her and still leave my terrier. Then another girl interrupted and asked if I was there for a bath for my terrier....uhm, what the heck does the appointment say sweetheart?

Of course with the level of incompetence and attitude shown towards a customer there was NO WAY I was going to leave any of my animals in their care. I would rather pay more money for a personal groomer than be treated like my frustrations aren't valid nor leave my animals in the care of individuals that can't even schedule correctly or rectify their mistakes. I would never bring my animals to this Petsmart groomer again. It's grooming on a budget and that's exactly what you get in quality...

I did not have a good experience. I was in discussion with a dog trainer to either get a refund or reschedule a session. I’ve tried calling multiple times and could never get ahold of any body for a refund. The dog trainer was in the hospital, and I was prior to this as well, and then I got into a car wreck, I was out a job. They are not giving me a refund of my money. I was homeless, car all wrecked up. And “Angela” would not even look me up because she said supposedly they had a new system. She only took my name and number after I left. Meaning right before I left) I signed up for dog training classes and they are basically going to steal 100 bucks from me? She wouldn’t send me to a higher up or give me a phone number of who to call. The dog trainer Jess seemed nice, so I’m hoping she’s not on the same page as them. I’m hoping something gets done about this. If not basically PetSmart is stealing 100 dollars from me. I also moved. I’m very upset, I was told I could reschedule or get the money back. My dog is also not doing so good in the store the last time I tried to take her. There’s been a lot going on and they’re refusing to work with me. STEALING is not okay ANGELA. (She said her name was Angela but not sure if it was) She had reddish blonde hair, This is wrong. Hoping for the best and that I can get my money back. I even asked if I could just use it in store. That money could be used to buy my dog dog food. This is cruel and just wrong. Also giving PetSmart a bad name. I loved coming here but after this experience I am not happy at all. ALSO I was told I could have a refund and have the texts. I did not have reliable transportation to drive there with a lot going on. I never got a copy or anything of any policy or ever read one. Unless stuff gets falsified, this is wrong. This is stealing if it’s not taken care of properly. I’m also going to add that 100 bucks could be used on feeding my dog instead of someone pocketing it and not showing kindness to someone in their time of need. If this represents PetSmart and their values I won’t be coming back and I’ll be share to share this...

My wife and I decided to take our Basset Hound in to have her nails cut. We were greeted by one of the groomers and while getting checked in we saw one of the dogs getting groomed yelping in pain. Decided to still proceed with the appointment and while handing our dog to the groomer to be taken in for her appointment, could not help but get a unsettling feeling about the person. Was estimated our dog will be done in about 10 minutes so we decided to hang out. While I was browsing around the store my wife proceeded to pay. She called me from the register to let me know that as she was trying to pay, that the groomer called the register to let us know our dog was restless and cannot proceed with the nail cutting. So I proceed to pick her up and the groomer tells me our dog was restless, she was barrel rolling and that her eyes were turning red, so they were unable to cut her nails so they will only charge us for grinding them. Delivering this message the groomer facial expression was of indifference to say the least. The person didn't want to be there and you could tell. Looking at my dog's eyes they were bloodshot red (probably because she was getting strangled by their leash) and closely inspecting her nails (she really did not want me touching her paws) found her nails to be split and cracked. Our dog has been to this location for baths, nails cut and you name it countless times and never has a issue or exhibited the behavior claimed by this groomer. Expressed the situation to one of the store managers and the sole return was them considering the transaction a "wash". As if $10 is exactly what is going to resolve the problem. With sincere efforts to keep my composure we decided to walk out. This store and it's entire chain will never see or touch my dog again nor get my business. Heed my friendly advice and keep your dogs away from these butchers claiming to be pet friendly professionals as they are anything but that!

I made a grooming appointment online to show up to find out they would not honor my appointment because my dog is elderly. The website should specify this when someone makes an appointment so it's not wasting everyone's time. I rescheduled my appointment as a "rush" appointment which they say is to benefit the elderly dog by not keeping them in a kennel. However, I waited 52 minutes past my appointment time before they ever took my dog back. The attendant that came to the front had visibly been crying in the back because "the boss" was putting everyone under a tremendous amount of pressure to do things a certain way. That's what she said. What is that all about? "The boss" then came out to announce she is who is grooming my dog. She had to be told to look up a video on youtube to know how to cut my dogs hair. My dog still came out with a haircut that was from a similar breed but not my dog's breed. I think it looks amusing so I am not complaining. We actually laugh every time he enters the room so I guess it's ok but not what we asked for. Obviously the grooming dept. could use some help.

We took our 3 dogs today to get their nails trimmed. Not super friendly, but not rude. The person who trimmed our dogs nails was kind to our dogs, especially to our more timid dog. As they completed the service, we walked over to the Dog day camp. That must be an awesome job, to be able to pet and play with dogs all day :) From there, we stopped by to check out the training for dogs. Donovan, a dog trainer, then came to see if we had any questions. He was helpful, professional and very patient with all of my questions, and gave me all the Information I asked for. Below are some pictures I snapped of the dog day camp fun.
