This is a great little restaurant to get some fresh salad and Seafood. This is located on 54th Street south of Ray Road in the Sam's Club Home Depot Bed Bath & Beyond Shopping Center South of Ray Road on 54th Street just east of the I-10. You go up in order from the counter you can either have a base of salad white rice or brown rice or a combination. I always get the brown rice and the salad combo. Then you pick two fish yes they are raw but they have been marinated and they are delicious. You have your choice Ginger salmon eggs seaweed crab mixture wasabi sprouts to mention a few. Then you can top it off with sesame seeds or a combination of seaweed and sesame seeds dried onions or chili flakes. The medium bowl is $9 and the large bowl is 11 50. If you sign up for their email alerts you will get an extra 50% off card. They send you a lot of discounts in your email too so it's well worth it. I found the girl behind the counter was quite friendly and accommodating because I was unsure of what kind of sauce because you can get a spicy sauce and soy sauce and different types to go over everything I put a picture below of what I chose it was delicious and I was sorry to see it finished. That place was quite clean and pretty new. The service was friendly. They also offer a lot of different drinks that you can order. All in all it's a great experience for anyone living in Ahwatukee or the East Valley of Phoenix they have several locations I know there's one in Scottsdale and Phoenix. I have tried other Pokeball. Come and enjoy some Rockfish on salad and brown rice. You won't be disappointed. You have to get over the fact that is raw fish though but it's...
Read moreHad a day off and was driving around and saw this place. First of all cute name. But isn't it "poke"? I thought "poke" meant something else...... Service: ZERO, maybe everyone is busy but when a customer standing next to me can describe the menu and how the place works to me better than the worker there is a problem. No smiles: come on you guys are the front of the house and it looks like no one wants to be there. Ambience: Looks like a cheap school cafeteria. Food: I got the salad option. WARNING this combined with the house sauce makes the entire thing bitter. Like " I have to stop forcing myself to eat it 1/3 of the way" bitter. Fish quality is so-so. I think they should of tossed the salad and mixed everything instead of putting my avocado in one corner with the masago mixed in. Then they put sauce on only one side of my dish...... and so on. ORGANIZE PLEASE. Price: In my opinion, this is way overpriced for what you get. Verdict: I think I'll go next door to stingray i want a ahipoke next time. Yes, it might be a little more expensive, but at least I could finish it and feel like money well spent. Also made by a professional that know what...
Read moreIn one word I would describe my experience here as disrespectful. I have never been here before and probably will not return. They were training and the person taking my order was still learning so I had to repeat a couple times and he said he couldn’t hear me a couple times so I was kinda yelling, but taking it slow so he could get it all. I had no issues with him as I’ve worked at several food places and I know it’s a lot. Some lady took over and told me she was taking over the rest of the order and I needed to have more patience. I asked her if she just told me I needed to have more patience because I was genuinely surprised at the accusation in her voice. She repeated the same phrase in an annoyed toned. No one has ever told me how I NEEDED to act (cause I act just fine) The guy even said hold on twice to which I responded “yeah no problem” and waited till he was ready for more. So no idea what kind of patience she wanted me to have but I didn’t have it. I took my business elsewhere and I will tell everyone that asks to...
