The Taco Spot - West Chandler — Restaurant in Chandler

To be blunt and completely honest... I stumbled into this place next to Starbucks while waiting for my cafe mocha. Then reading reviews I decided to try, after all it was 9 in the morning and I just returned after being out of the country for 5 months. Anyway, I ordered the carne asada burrito and carne asada tacos with fries. Tacos are just ok, nothing special, apparently they come with American cheese but as the lovely nice girl working there told me I can replace with pico which I did because only jack in the box is allowed to have American cheese in their tacos. But literally not much flavor in the tacos. The red sauce was literally fire and the only red sauce in any restaurant to make me sweat, it made my eyes water and hiccup. Totally good and the burn was like drinking liquid hot radioactive lava. The green salsa is good like any other places. Which leads us to disappointment, the carne asada burrito. Literally there was no taste and I've eaten chipotle a couple of times. So there was meat in the burrito but not much, for the price I expected more meat but it was packed with rice and lettuce. I haven't had lettuce in a burrito since visiting Ogallala Nebraska, but those are some corn farmers out there. Lol. Anyway, my diet consists of 90 percent carne asada burritos so I know, there is just no taste, and rice in a burrito is a no for me but lettuce in a burrito is an absolute sin, it's blasphemy. So it's just my opinion here, but I am highly recommending myself not to order the carne asada burrito again. I will have to say the place is immaculately clean and pristine. I wanted to share feedback about my recent visit. My husband and I stopped in for a quick meal before my flight, hoping to give your restaurant another try despite a previous less-than-ideal experience.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered two Asada Farrow burritos, and both contained very little meat—they were mostly filled with rice and beans. The meat that was included didn’t taste right, and the overall quality was not what I expect from your restaurant. In the past, I’ve had tacos and burritos here that were much better, but this time was different and not in a good way.

Although the customer service was friendly, the food was not up to standard. I did not have time to return or exchange the meal, as I was headed out of town, but I wanted to make you aware of the issue. I also tried to call, but could not reach anyone.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously and look into what went wrong, so other customers don’t have the same experience. For now, I will stick to ordering tacos in the future if...

The taco spot ...definitely does not live up to its tictok,reels,shorts...thought we give then a go since the portions looked decent in the short vids you see ..for 30 plus dollars for 1 burrito and 3 tacos that weren't even made correctly is a big disappointment we ordered the burrito frys and taco deal for me and the wife got 2 tacos with frys tacos where supposed to have meat ,cheese , Lettuce, and tomatoes..well the 2 tacos only had meat and some weird cheese and my combo was missing the taco...what's sad is this place was in chandler, and I live in Maricopa so after paying the 30 plus dollars for 1 burrito and 2 taco with frys we drive home to find out nothing was correct couldn't call since bye the time we got home they where closed..all I can say is don't believe the hype I doubt they even compensate me for having to missing food and the tacos made wrong ...guess those to young fellows felt they needed to teach me and the wife a lesson since I didn't leave a tip and they where in a rush to go home since it was...
