The bad first. As an expert in the food industry, prior manager of restaurants, customer and Uber Eats driver I can say that they need to hire at least one more person or even 2 more people to complete the rest. Why? Because the FOOD IS AMAZING, THE BEST PHO and The Lady is Amazingly Friendly. But, if you lack of people working then everything falls apart. I managed a restaurant in Florida and we were knowing for our service because we didn't make people wait on the tables for their check or had people waiting for their orders. you need 3 people working the front, taking the food, taking orders, packing the to go orders and you will see how your business will stay for a long time. People are very picky with FOOD QUALITY but even more with Customer Service. you are very friendly but you need to hire one more person specially on weekends like Friday night, Saturday Night, Sundays and Lunch hours during the week. Because one thing that people hate is waiting for someone to take their order, waiting for someone to get you a refill, waiting too long for a to go order. Don't try to do everything yourself because that will also make you look bad, running around like crazy. Take my advice and your business will succeed. Take a look at Chick-Fil-A. count the people working, like 20 kids in there but they are FAST. take a look at Mcdonald's inside. They will make you wait like 15 minutes for a freaking coffee, of course Mcdonald's is the worse service in the United States. Your place is amazing, great food, friendly people but the lack of workers in the front. I was standing there for like 19 minutes and I was watching everything. I noticed people in the tables were a bit irritated and another gay waiting for his to go food because it's impossible to do everything on your own, some kid bringing the food. Not enough for a busy area like...
Read more04/04/2025. We visited the AZ Pho restaurant earlier today. First of all I must say the food was good, no delay in ordering. The restaurant was also very clean. The rest of our visit was VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Before choosing the AZ Pho our son went to a number of different website to find a place. I had a quick look and it looked good. I also noticed a 15% off coupon.
Well here I go. I pointed out to the nice person that served us that we had a 15% coupon. Well the coupon was expired 2024. Oops bad me. WTF the website hasn’t been updated. Guess what it’s 2025! We were also charged at 18% SERVICE FEE. This was not identified on the WEBSITE! (I have a picture of the bill as reference). For me this is a REAL NEGATIVE. I also noticed when guests order sodas the glasses were so full of ice I don’t believe that there would have been much room for the beverage ordered. We didn’t order beverages and I suggested that you just order H2O.
In conclusion we were very disappointed with the overall experience. If you are going to have a website at least take the time to keep it current so your customers know what you have to offer. (NO SURPRISES)
Would we recommend this place? Not until the restaurant updated the website and disclosed they have a SERVICE FEE of 18% for providing service. I NEVER realized that SERVICE WAS...
Read moreI don’t know yet about their offerings in other Vietnamese dishes on the menu, but when it comes to Phở, no, not even close! I can’t understand why Phở is in their name. I don’t know where their recipes, preparations or ingredients, or what regions, or how they’ve come about for their Phở has come from and how they prepare it, but this is not Phở or even close to being what I’ve come to value as a ‘legitimate’ Phở. I love Phở… I’ve loved it, and appreciated it for many, many, many years, and this Phở does not come close to any Phở, from any Vietnamese region I’ve experienced ever, ever, anywhere across the country. It kind of feels like its mass produced, the broth not at all traditionally flavorful, they use dry and flavorless meats, and ingredients/addons are skimpy, don’t seem very fresh. Sorry, I don’t think anyone who appreciates Phở and respects it will appreciate a real Phở meal at AZ Phở & Grill! It’s a matter of respect for a cherished Vietnamese mainstay. I recently had the mis opportunity of having both their Steak Phở and their Phở Tai Nam (my fave) – not! As for the rest of their meals, caveat emptor! I don’t pretend to know. By the way, their website doesn’t even spell Phở correctly! I am very sorry, I repeated myself a bit, but it’s for a...
