I am updating my review for the business owner. They had reached out to me and my friend after learning about our experience and took the time to hear us out and provide a service recovery.

NOTE!! Not punctual. Not full body massages. Massage itself did not last for the indicated time.
I really wanted to give this place a 5-star because it was such a beautiful, relaxing place, and the staff were extremely nice - unfortunately it gave me a great amount of stress as well.
My timestamps are based on what I remember and when my messages were sent.
Me and my friend are from out of state and was flying out at 6:30PM. We walked-in around noon to schedule a massage at 2PM. We left and showed up earlier (as recommended by the staff) to get ready. I was ready and brought to the lounge area by 1:47PM. The lounge area was great. Water, snacks, ambiance, complimentary drinks — loved it.
A little after 2:15PM my friend got called in for her massage. I accidentally fell into a light sleep and woke up at 2:44PM. Nobody had called for me still. I went to get a staff’s attention to see what is going on because I don’t have much time and my friend is almost done already. The staff started scrambling and I heard her asking the therapist why has it been so long.
At 2:54PM I am finally in the room.
The Deep Tissue Massage: My therapist asked me where I would like her to target and I told her. I think she really did a great job focusing on the part I informed her about, but the other parts felt like a regular massage. I thought it was a full-body deep tissue massage with a bit more time spent on the requested part, but I guess it’s different here.
I enjoyed the massage for the most part, but it is not as good as others that I’ve had before and I had missed my pedicure and rental car drop off time due to unexpected traffic that should have been avoided if we started our massages on time.
Another set off was I paid for the 50 mins massage, but the massage itself was not 50 mins. I did not realize until my friend checked her timestamps and it did not add up for her. I had messaged her I am finally in at 2:54PM, add a few more mins for introduction and getting ready — massage most likely did not start until 3PM. I checked my phone as I was grabbing it at the end — 3:37PM.
I’m not sure if the 50 mins was suppose to include the lounge time, but nothing adds up anyways since they were an hour late for my scheduled time. I received a message afterwards to leave a feedback for my 3PM appointment… I scheduled 2PM with my friend and showed up around 1:45PM. I left the building around or a little before 4PM.
I did not complain or let management know of my disappointment with the timing, as nothing could make up for the lost time anyways and I certainly don’t have time to complain. I simply let them know everything was great. Not sure what management would have done as I didn’t even get an apology or explanation as to why I was forgotten.
Hopefully this review will be helpful to future guests that are short on time and expecting an above average massage - this may not be it.
There are positives as I mentioned, but the things that went wrong overshadowed all...
Read moreWoodhouse is my new go-to for any spa treatment or a day of relaxation. They SAVED me last minute when I realized I had booked an appointment for my best friend’s birthday at another spa out of town, whose reviews led me to believe we were not going to be having the experience I was signed up for. The day before my friend’s birthday, I called, panicked, trying to rearrange plans last minute and ensure a special celebration. Syd was extremely helpful and carefully went through my options for what they still had available and how we could book services for both of us at the same time. I immediately felt relieved and like we were in good hands to trust in our celebration. When we arrived the next day, we were kindly greeted and given a tour (by Naomi) of the gorgeous, cozy, and extremely clean space. We were instructed on how to change into VERY comfortable robes and had lockers to keep our belongings safe. Then we were guided to a quiet room to relax in before our services. I was totally blown away. They had a private room for us with two very nice chairs for lounging with soft blankets, a glass of champagne (or tea upon request) for each of us, a plate of snacks and desserts, a hydrangea in a vase, a happy birthday note for her, and cold fruit infused water. We relaxed until it was time for her facial and I did the sauna and the salt room back to back. Naomi guided me to the infrared sauna where I had plenty of towels and a sauna large enough to lay down which was amazing. Then I went to the salt room which was cool and very relaxing. The salt room has soft blankets and an anti-gravity chair that was super comfy!! My friend said her facial was also wonderful. We had the most special day. I’m so grateful for the service and extreme attention to detail that allowed us to fully relax and celebrate together. Thanks Syd for squeezing us in at a last minute notice!! I’ll...
Read moreI recently visited Woodhouse Spa with a friend, and while the overall ambiance was calming and the space clean and aesthetically pleasing, there were several areas where the experience fell short.
Upon arrival (right on time), we were rushed to the back without much guidance. The changing rooms and restrooms were quite small, and no one explained what garments to keep on or remove. We also didn’t have time to shower or enjoy any of the complimentary amenities in the changing area. Shortly after, we were led to the quiet room to fill out paperwork; something that could have easily been completed beforehand to save time. No drinks or snacks were offered upon arrival either.
Our massages began later than scheduled (around 1:15 for a 1:00 PM appointment), and while mine was enjoyable, my friend’s experience was noticeably different. Her massage was 20 minutes longer, included hot stones, and no essential oils, while mine featured essential oils and only a hot towel. The inconsistency in treatments was disappointing and left me waiting quite a while for her to finish.
Afterward, we returned to the quiet room and helped ourselves to trail mix and water; only discovering them on our own, as no one mentioned they were available. We also weren’t informed how long we could stay post-treatment, so we eventually grabbed our things and went to check out, only to find no front desk staff. We waited about five minutes before someone arrived to assist.
While the spa itself is serene and clean, better communication, consistent treatment standards, and improved hospitality (like timely service, clear instructions, and small touches like snacks or beverages) would make the experience feel more complete and worth the visit. A more accurate timer system for massages and a few extra amenities would...
