GameStop — Attraction in Chattanooga

I came on Wednesday to get a Nintendo switch and they said they hadn't received there shipment of switches yet, but that they'd be there getting them tomorrow so I woke up today and sat there for an hour waiting with four other people for them to open and a employee (not gonna name any names cough Chad cough )shows up and says "we sold them all on Tuesday" and we asked how this error happened, and he said his sister and him run the shop and that she was working yesterday and he was doing Tuesday and she didn't hear they got the shipment which is complete crap because it was a male working yesterday. This guy was reserving the ones coming in stock today for his friends is what I'm thinking. This store is a joke. Before launch of Switch, I asked if I could have someone pick it up or if they could deliver to my store in the mall because I was going to be on vacation until the 5th. They said no because I need to verify ID with pre order for security reasons. So I had to cut my vacation short to get it because they even warned me that if I don't pick it up quick, it could go to someone else. So I pick up for Switch today and what do you know... I didn't get IDed. I literally could have had someone pick the damn thing up and enjoyed the rest of my vacation. I will travel a 100 miles before I come to this store again. Even with me working in the same mall, never again will I be in there.

Associate won't make an exception when I bought something...

Would NOT recommend buying any electronic accessories from game stop in general, or the replacement warranty. Long story short I purchased a headset (RIG 600) with a 2 year warranty, months ago. The warranty was for a full replacement with another NEW pair. Gamestop recently changed their warranty policy, refuses to honor their prior policy which I paid for and will only give you a refurbished pair. What a coincidence... the refurbished pair I received doesnt work. They will not refund me my money, and "all they can do" is give me another refurbished pair or refund me the amount for a refurbished pair. Not the knew ones that I actually purchased or the money...
