I was floored by how bad the gift card process was for Broadway in Chicago. I purchased a gift card as a gift for a relative, assuming I'd receive a code for them to use when purchasing the seats of their choice, for the show and date of their choice. Instead, you have to download a (non-fillable) PDF form and complete it with the requested date, show, time, back up options, seat location preferences, etc, then email it to a person, wait for them to confirm the seats assigned, pay the difference online, wait for the box office to process the order, and then wait for the tickets to be mailed (will call is an option, but didn't want my family having to bother with that on the day). How is it possible that this is the process in 2024? If I had known it would be so convoluted and time intensive, I would have just sent my family the cash to buy the tickets themselves - then they have the luxury to pick the show and the seats themselves as they should. PSA for anyone looking into gifts cards here in the future - I really hope Broadway in Chicago upgrades their process to...

For this fair amount of time, I have been thrilled with both the overall price and the customer service in the subscriptions department. The subscriptions department is consistently very helpful and courteous whether it's via phone call or email. Apart from the best customer services, they have the best products to provide. For example, they are not having the worst seats. This is a win for them. However, they need to improve on the online booking system. They should provide other options apart from Ticket Master.
