Visited 6/30/2019 for Brunch The place is not that big which is okay but they could use a bump. I visited because of a birthday celebration and as an event planner I'm always looking for new and interesting venues.
Food was so so. Buffet table too tall for short people, I'm tall and I still had to stand on my tip toes to see what was in the bottom of the container. Wrong containers for food. No labels on anything, a couple of people put hot sauce on their salad because they thought it was French dressing. Food was not replenished in appropriate amount of time. Needed to have salt and pepper out for use. Only saw one person with gloves on that was handling the food, he looked like he might have been the chef. Had a VIP area near the buffet which I would have eliminated, should have used that area for better buffet setup.
Telephoned the day before my visit to inquire about parking and paying at the door. No one informed me that paying at the door was cash only. I think that was an important point to advise me about since I was inquiring about cost, thankfully I was with someone that had cash.
Don't know if this was a regular DJ but I've had/seen better. Music was much too loud for such a small venue. Difficulty hearing while talking to someone in their ear...much too loud.
I spoke with one employee that seemed open to suggestions, spoke with another gentleman that said he was the owner. He was doing what he could since they were short staffed, that I liked.
Can't speak on the bar since I'm not a drinker.
People seemed to be having a decent time but it doesn't take much when alcohol is involved. Would I go back...maybe but not likely. Would I have an event there...if I could have my own caterer and setup buffet...
Read moreI’ve been here 4 times this summer for either the silent party or brunch. The wings are amazing! Vibes are ok, depends on the day/crowd. I’m leaving a 3 star review because you can’t just come in and get the food. It was 3:20ish on a Sunday and nobody was in there except the workers and security. My 2 gfs and I had just got done doing a pole dancing class on the block and I recommended this place because the wings fye, like real good. We try to go in and security literally says we can’t come in unless we pay $20 a piece because brunch party started at 2pm even though there was nobody there 😭 make it make sense?! That fee does not go toward our food it’s a fee to go in the door of an empty establishment?? Please go to hell. We declined and asked if we could place a pickup order for the wings and was told no by security. Thankfully there was another great option for wings on the block. I love our people but sometimes it’s hard to support your own for small nuisances...
Read moreTwo words: Bad business. They are confused about the dress code particularly for men. I arrived at about 9:15pm with a hat to match my fit for the evening. I was told at the door no hats allowed. Okay cool. There was even a brown box outside the bar at the door to hold hats if you didn’t want to walk back to your car. But I went back to the car to put my hat back trying to honor the rules. When i came back from the car, walked in the bar, I noticed about 5 guys with hats on. I went back to the security guard to complain and pointed out the contradiction. He walked away unwillingly to engage. I talked with the owner who was male, and to my surprise, he had on a hat himself. He was concerned with too many guys having on hats because “it gets crazy.” Im not sure what “it gets crazy mean.” I pointed out the need to be clear in his communication to just not a few guys, but for all. If it’s a certain culture you trying to establish stand on the rules....
