Michaels — Attraction in Christiansburg

Went shopping at Michaels Store and bought two lightup pumpkins. Checked out and paid with my debit card. Swiped my card once and waited. The cashier had me swipe it a second time so I did. Got my recieptnd left the store. I often look online at my bank statements and the next day I was looking aat all my charges. Seen two charges on my statement where I was at Michales the day earlier. Checked my reciept and called Customer Service at Michaels. The lady at Michaels was very rude and told me that it was not Michaels fault that I was charged twice that it was my banks fault and that there was nothing she could do for me. So I then sent 3 emails to Customer Service and I have yet only to recieve the Automated emails saying they have recieved my email and will contact me soon. I called Michaels again for the second time and was put on hold. Nothing accomplished still. Talked to my bank and they agree that it was Michales Store that did charge my card 2 times on the same day for the same exact amount. I live 50 miles from a Michaels Store or I would walk in the store and take everything back I bought. So STRESSED over this whole thing. I'm thinking twice before shopping at Michaels again just because of the way I have been treated over something that was their fault...

Michaels store is awesome, as always! A little low on some things of course, due to Christmas I'm sure! But I found everything needed! I've been working with a lot of sculpey lately...they were a little short of the brand, but had plenty of the compound, just used a different kind. I mean I've been buying pounds of the stuff! Also got a good deal on a new glue gun and sticks, and of course got the coolest, nicest new tools to use on my sculpey! I should add that my oldest son Brad was able to make it in from NYNY for Christmas, and HE is the one who bought me all this wonderful stuff! Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have such a nice set with case, and a new sketch pad, etc. Christmas twice! He's so good to all of us in so many ways... Anyway, Michaels is the place to go for all MY art and craft needs. Plus a lot of surprising new things!...

They have a scheme going at this one. Not sure if the others are doing it but here they have marked all the clearance things like paint to say was 3.99 now 10.00. You assume they have it confused but will get the item for 3.99 but when you go to the register she says no it was 19.99 now its 10.00. They are falsely advertising prices they do not honor. I guess they wait for people who will just buy it and forget about it. I suppose they think this is a loop hole to not get in trouble for false ad. The cashier pretending like the mistake was because of new people but firstly those sticker prices have been there like that for weeks and secondly there were baskets and buckets of them like this. I think all of them actually. I'll never go here again for fear of being ripped off. I'll stick to the HL and...
