Art Beyond Boundaries — Attraction in Cincinnati

The gallery is so inviting even to those who don’t feel they have any type of artistic talent or dimension. There is ALWAYS work there that appeals to anyone. The staff is also inviting and helpful from the art interns, the assistant to the director. They give you the freedom to explore the exhibits and provide information relative to the art work if desired. I also enjoyed the “Opening Presentations,” I have attended, which introduces the change of exhibits via “open-house style” which includes light refreshments.

This truly is not your average normed art gallery for many reasons. Primarily because all forms of art (canvas, ceramic, jewelry) are created by individuals with various form of disability. Their work is adjudicated for acceptance to be showcased. How special is that? An artist’s work is not accepted because of one having a disability but by the quality of the work and its correlation to gallery themes to be presented.
