Gallery at Gumbo is more than just a barber shop. The back room is filled with art pieces created by local Cincinnati artists. The owner, Ricardo Grant, is consistently finding community outreach opportunities to not just make his barbershop a more inclusive place; but the neighborhood and city as a whole. I’ve been a customer of Trimmz for 5+ years and was one of his first customers when the shop opened. He cuts my hair exactly how I asks, and my blend and line up are always top tier. Trimmz is professional, dependable, and very personable. The owner, Rico Grant, did an amazing job at creating an inclusive space where everyone is welcomed. I scheduled an appointment for my son who was very excited to get his hair cut there. Normally I would not spend $40 for a haircut but I spent a lot of time in the location when I was pregnant (before it was the current barbershop). The only way to schedule an appointment is through the app and was subject to 100% payment if not canceled 24 hours in advance.
