SERIOUSLY words alone cannot express how wonderful my experience was here… truly a GEM & one-of-a-kind place! 🤍 I’ve had several piercing experiences & this was the best I’ve had beyond comparison… it was the experience I have always hoped for 🥲🙏🏼🌸 From the moment I walked into the shop I felt overwhelming ease & comfort. Brody was welcoming, incredibly charismatic, & honestly one of the most genuine, down-to-earth souls I’ve ever met. He has the energy that feels like talking to / catching up with an old friend! He was so knowledgeable & radiantly passionate about what he does & that high vibe energy permeates throughout the entire shop… you can feel the DEEP Love that was poured into every detail of its creation! 💖 I came in to get my nose pierced & I was a little leery because my last experience was painful, harsh, & ultimately unsuccessful 🫠 but Brody walked me through everything & made me so comfortable & at peace through the process… made sure I liked the placement, explained how it was going to work, etc. The piercing itself was flawless & nearly painless, & 3 days later I am still pain free & healing so nicely — the FIRST time I have EVER experienced that after ANY piercing! I could go on & on but all this to say I am so incredibly grateful I was guided here. The Universe responded directly to my wishes through Archetype! 🍀🙌🏼💫 I freakin’ love my cute lil nose ring & it adds so much character to my look. I was visiting Cincinnati and decided to stop by Archetype on a whim to see if I could consult someone on a piercing I got a few years back (at a different piercing shop). Brody welcomed me into the shop even though I didn't have an appointment and he was AMAZING from the start! I immediately knew I was in good hands. He asked about the history of my piercing and willingly listened to my novel of a story (ha!) and understood my frustrations. He helped me understand the type of jewelry that would look best in my piercing while intentionally considering the shape of my ear. I selected a beautiful new piece of jewelry for my existing piercing and I also decided to get a new piercing before leaving! It was just the perfect opportunity, so why not. When I saw my new jewelry and the new piercing together (they are on the same ear) I was SO thrilled!! Brody is a true expert in his craft. I've seen lots of piercers over the years and Brody is hands down THE BEST of them. No one else, and I mean no one, took time to sit and talk with me like Brody did. He helped me "style" my ear based on what I liked and what would look best on my ear shape. I got my last piercing 6 years ago and haven’t changed my style since. A few weeks ago I went to Archetype and got my other nostril pierced and got a new piece for my previously pierced nostril. I looked online and scheduled a consultation (same day) which was free and booked a nostril piercing because I was pretty sure that’s what I wanted. Brody greeted me with warmth and walked me through the process. He also explained his pricing and tip expectations/lack thereof. We explored some options and he calculated the prices of everything along the way so i wasn’t surprised. The piercing itself was nothing. Uncomfortable at worst. Not going to say painless but a lot less painful than my other nostril i got in Florida on family vacation. I love the results but I’m mostly impressed with the shop.
