This was such a great experience to get out on the water! Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors and see the area from a whole new perspective. The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and refreshing—exactly what I was hoping for.
What really made the experience stand out was how informative it was. The guide (or crew, depending on your activity) was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, its history, wildlife, and landmarks. You could tell they were passionate about what they do and about sharing that knowledge with others. I learned things I never would have just driving around or reading online.
Everything was well-organized and safe, making it easy to just relax and enjoy the ride. Whether you're into nature, history, or just want a break from the usual routine, this is a perfect way to spend a few hours.
I highly recommend it for couples, families, or solo adventurers looking to explore and unwind. It’s more than just a boat ride—it’s an experience that connects you to the area in a meaningful and memorable way. I’ll definitely be doing it again next time...
Read moreI’ve been on this boat a couple times in the past but never had an experience like this one. The Captain (I’m guessing) kept asking us to shush our children (he shushed them a lot himself) and stood behind them while we rode the boat almost to intimidate them. We had 14 children with us between three families and they really were not loud or disrespectful but they did chat. He was not having it and I felt very embarrassed and mom shamed. All of the crew kept watching us the whole ride and if any drop of anything was spilled they ran and cleaned it up and at one point threw our water bottles away before we were finished. I felt so uncomfortable the whole ride. I think it’s hard enough to go places with so many children and we really do the best we can, please do not make us feel any worse when trying to give our children a...
Read moreA flat bottom 2 story paddle boat. The ticket cost $16 and the ride lasted 50 minutes. The ride goes down the Cass river approximately a mile before turning around. The Captain was funny and gave some interesting information. The scenery was great and we got to see some 11 day old ducklings and a hawk. They say sometimes you can see large and apparently fast turtles and the 2nd largest owl in the states. Neither one made an appearance today though, nor did the Bald Eagle! Apparently this riverboat was built in 1981 and floated down the Mississippi River to the Ohio River in Indiana and then the Arkansas River in Little Rock Arkansas. Then came up here in 1999/2000. It is privately owned and Captain by a father and his 2 sons, so very cool.
Overall a highly recommended 5 star review. Would I...
