It’s June 6th, 2019. I’ve ordered a kilt over a year ago. The representative does not respond to any correspondence I send. I would like a refund. Please and thank you. Extremely upset and disappointed that I have had the run around of ‘your order will be shipped in 4-5 weeks. Poor candid message. It has gotten quite old! Find something new to say! Ugh!!!!!
Still awaiting order from June 2018. As of April 2019 was told 4-5 weeks 3 months ago! Representative does not respond to my emails.
I am still awaiting for a hybrid kilt ordered June 3, 2018. I’ve been in contact with the representative several times, being told that the kilt maker was behind. In addition, I was told I would have the kilt for Christmas but it would depend on my postal service. When I log on to the website it states my order is still in process. I see a lot of poor reviews here and I should have investigated before making such a purchase. We have ordered custom kilts in the past(made in Scotland) and shipped to Canada within 8 weeks. Read moreMy friend, Stephanie, and I purchased custom kilts from Got Kilt at the Renaissance Festival not last year, but the year before. They informed us that there was a hefty wait time, which we weren't worried about, because we wanted them for the following year.
Six months passed, so we started reaching out. We're friendly ladies, so we weren't super pushy. No one got back to us, repeatedly. We tried going to the store in Frankenmuth and speaking with the staff there. They gave us an email address and phone number for the owner, who repeatedly ignored us.
At last year's Renaissance Festival, we went to the same booth and explained the situation. We provided a copy of the receipt and order number. The owner wrote down all of the information and promised to take care of it promptly.
Still nothing...
Stephanie emailed him again in November. He responded, apologized, and said he would make it up to us.
She emailed again over the holidays. No response.
She just emailed again today asking for a credit.
Clearly, our experience has been less than positive. We're just hoping for our money back at...

We even took care to order the in-stock item (which was not our first choice), because they said 2-3 days delivery time for in-stock items compared to 8-10 weeks if it had to be custom made. It is now September and we still have not received the item. The order status has been sitting at being in the "final stages" (whatever that means) for over 2 months. The company does not respond to emails or phone calls, and I am very disappointed to see so many reviews here from people in a similar boat, some who have been waiting over a year! The company is very fast to take our money, but I guess they do not care to provide any kind of communication or customer service. I am feeling very disappointed that we will not have the kilt to wear to either festival this year, and wishing had looked into online reviews before ordering.
