Just checked out Te Fiti Tiki in downtown Frankenmuth, and honestly, this place is such a cool new vibe for the area. The second you walk in, you get that warm tiki feel — bamboo ceiling, flickering lights, and fun island music playing in the background.
The menu’s simple but solid. We had the Pork Gyoza and Coconut Shrimp, both were really good. Drinks were on point too — they’ve got the usual tiki favorites plus some creative ones. The Tiki Mule was sooo good. Definitely ordering that again.
Everyone working there was super friendly and easy to talk to. We even met the owner — she was so sweet and welcoming. You can tell they really care about making it a fun, relaxed spot.
They’ve only been open a couple weeks, but the place already feels like it’s been running smoothly for a while. Indoor seating’s cozy, and they’ve got a nice patio setup for bigger groups.
Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. Once they get fully settled in, I think this’ll be one of Frankenmuth’s go-to hangouts — especially for anyone who loves this town but wants something a little different from the usual beer & pizza or chicken...
Read moreMy wife, mother-in-law, and I enjoyed Te Fiti Tiki the day after they opened in October, 2025--We highly recommend it!!!
Occupying the first floor of a house on Main Street, Te Fiti Tiki has limited space (with a patio in good weather), so plan accordingly as you will not want to miss this experience.
Begin with a selection from the tropical drinks menu. We chose the Pina Colada and Tiki Mule.
In order to sample the widest variety of the menu, we enjoyed the Pu Pu Platter featuring Coconut Shrimp Skewers with Chili Glaze Sauce, Beef Skewers with Teriyaki Sauce, Gyoza, Edamame, and Plantain Chips with Mango Salsa--all were beautifully prepared and flavorful!
We rounded out the meal with a delicious Coconut Crème Brûlée!
Our waiter Billy (whom we remember when Honey Bees occupied this space) delivered wonderful service!
Please checkout Te Fiti Tiki--you will be rewarded.

Read moreAll around mid experience at this new spot in Frankenmuth. Upon entering it started out weird. No one greeted us and we stood there not knowing who to ask about seating as no one made eye contact. Its very small and was pretty empty so it was awkward as staff was just walking around us. Not a huge deal but still awkward at first, especially for a new place. We ordered several dishes and they were solid. Pork gyoza, beef skewers and the shrimp raman special. Nothing incredibly unique about the food or service but pretty good eats. The drinks are super cool with island vibes for sure and they have crushed ice which is great except the ice was to the top of the glass, almost like it was a slurpee. It's also very dark but thats part of the vibe they're going for. I'll go back eventually but don't see it as a monthly...
