Was a frequent customer from grand opening.
They have nice products on the shelves and good taste in local NY brands. Their prices are rounded to the $, so you don't have to prepare with change & they don't have to return any coins. While odd, it is convenient in my opinion. The support for GF is fantastic. Some brands to try if possible are Canna Cure and BHF flower; Blue Zushi and Maui Wowie from both respectively are great smokes that feel good. If you like edibles or drinks, Ayrloom, OFF HOURS & Generic AF are all genuine treats. The hand painted artworks on the walls are very nice. You could previously walk into the shop and watch the artists (who are also budtenders) paint, but they might have stopped doing that.
Prices are a little too high compared to adjacent licensed dispensaries. Most budtenders on staff are unfamiliar with the terpene profile and %s of the strains available on their menu. This statement excludes Martha(? I believe that is her name, she is an artist), as she is very knowledgeable. Some product packaging is difficult to scan to check grower info/test sheets, occasionally require the use of computer to access on an external website. Owners are not typically present on-location. There is a broken window in the back of the sales room, presumably unfixed from an early break-in. The front window is typically unoccupied with no security staff. The floor appears to always be wet, though appropriate wet floor signage is usually posted. The parking lot and front doorstep often need more salt when there is icy weather. Budtenders are occasionally challenged with an extremely busy shop and will hop from customer to customer in an attempt to help everybody, causing frustration and confusion among customers, as well as mistakes on their own part. (hash =/= wax, carts sold with no battery, wrong strain type, wrong size, etc) Sales kiosks are off and require manual activation with your hand to turn on when you enter the shop. Very little signage. The display cases consistently reflect products that the shop itself does not carry. Filler product in the display for the most part? Already changing staff, the other artist budtender and one of the security men(?) appear to be gone, which is a shame as they both were always very cheery. No prepaid pickup. No lighters or matches. No swag from the shop except a cardstock flyer; no business cards for wallet, only vendor stickers.
After trying many different products, budgeting my $$s and comparing shop menus, sales floors & etc, I would not wholly recommend visiting this dispensary. If you are local and RR is accessible to you, that is great and I encourage you to visit at least once, it may be the right fit for you. However if you are looking to save money and have a more comfortable in-person visit to a sales floor, I would recommend stopping by a different...
Read moreWARNING ⚠️ RR Legacy Dispensary in Glens Falls. I should have known better after hearing several complaints but I had yet to have a bad experience. Last night, I went in and made a purchase that online is listed as $43.00. In the store using my bank card which they told me I could only run as debit...was charged $56.00. I found this unusual and once I got in my car and looked up the price again of the item I chose. $43.00. I knew there was no manager or owner on duty so I chose to wait until the next morning to resolve it.
Upon speaking with Diamond, the Manager...she told me that when using a debit card (again, they would not allow me to run it as credit) it rounds up...according to her by TEN DOLLARS to $53.00 and then you're charged a $3.50 ATM withdrawal fee that of course they don't inform you about.
Furthermore, Diamond claims that their camera footage shows me being handed change...CASH in the amount of $7.00. The cash that I already had in my purse that I fiddled with as I was putting my bank card back in my purse after my purchase...she is claiming was given to me by their employee.
I've never dealt with anything like this, it's atrocious and absurd and I pray no one else...
Read moreAs a seasoned user to the world of cannabis, I traveled from Albany NY and recently visited R&R Legacy Dispensary, who had their grand opening 11/27/24 and I must say my experience was enlightening and enjoyable. Located in the heart of Glens Falls NY this dispensary offers a welcoming atmosphere and a diverse array of products that cater to both seasoned enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike. The product selection was extensive and impressive. They offered a wide variety of strains, edibles, tinctures, and topicals, catering to both novice users and experienced connoisseurs. I was particularly impressed by their range of locally-sourced products, showcasing the craft of local growers. Additionally, the ability to view lab results and details about each product's potency contributed to a sense of transparency that is increasingly important in the cannabis industry. Great Place I will...
