I will start by saying, my pedicure was $50 with tip. It's hard to find a nail salon at that price point, so I'm giving it three stars instead of two for the price alone. My experience was firmly average. I got the most basic pedicure they offered, and my nails were well done. My tech knew what she was doing! However, the salon itself was a little run down and almost unsafe in spots. Ex - the floor was incredibly slippery before and after my pedicure. I assume this is because the pedicure chairs aren't actually pedicure chairs - it's a chair that you would buy at HomeGoods with a copper bowl underneath. The water kind of splashes in and out, because the water isn't well ckntained, and it causes the floor to be wet. The no slip safety strips were gone and fraying in many critical areas, like on the steps. There was a musty odor near my chair. I am making the assumption it was the smell of a damp towel that didn't quite dry all the way? Lastly, the pedicure "drying station" made me giggle a little. It was two teeny tiny fans that were covered in dust and fighting for their absolute lives to make any air flow happen. So to summarize: my tech was awesome, and the salon might need a little improvement, but for $50 I can't complain too much.

There is no free parking. There is no direct phone number if you need to call. No receptionist. No cash pay. Google GPS does not take you to the Ohio City location. When I called for directions, the person on the phone does not know the area and is reading from a script. Don't be late because you will be charged. The pedicure seats don't even have the massage chairs. At least there was one person nice enough to stay after work to accommodate my daughter. We were late because we were lost. In the end, I paid for 4 services even though I got only 2 services done all because I was 15 minutes late. Gps had me circling the building for 10 minutes. I dropped my daughter off at the door while I looked for parking an additional 10 minutes. I doubt I will return to this location. Asia had good customer service but the company overall didn't seem to care about me as the customer. Pedicure looked ok, I guess.🤔 I felt like if my time slot was an hour and I was 15 minutes late for the one appointment , they could at least did a simple polish change.

It was my first time at W bar and my first impression the place is spotless and no harsh smell of acrylics because they have none. It is totally different from another other salon. I am diabetic so I am very cautious when getting my cuticles cut and the tech I had cut them and it didn’t hurt nor did I bleed. The tech pulled a new file and buffer out. They took time on my nails and I didn’t feel rushed like past nail experiences. The only thing I didn’t like hearing employee jargon or drama while in the chair. I would just not do that infront of customers talk about a customer having a a bad experience in front of a new customer. I would just be more mindful of what you say infront of customers on the floor and save those types of talk for off the floor not infront of customers. But besides that I enjoyed my time and I will returning. I am very happy with my nails and the level of cleanliness and the staff overall.

Would give 0 stars if I could! Was turned away after waiting an HOUR to be sat. Two technicians looked at my nails as I had some damage from acrylics. My technician asked a male with more experience for help identifying the type of damage. I was told it was NOT fungus by him! She then decided she would consider it as fungus and told me she wouldn’t touch my nails. Understandable since my nails should be left alone for a little while. What’s NOT understandable or okay is what they sent me a text saying “your appointment has been cancelled” after I was turned away and charged my card $80 (100% OF THE SERVICE!!!). I figured this was a mistake and asked for a refund. I was told “No, we have every right to charge you as this is our policy.” They also said “we need to pay our technicians.” PAY HER FOR WHAT? She made me wait an HOUR after my scheduled appointment time to even be seen then didn’t spend more than 4 minutes on me. The man on the phone, when I called the next morning, was a bit rude and laughed as I calmly explained my frustration with this awful policy. I definitely do NOT RECOMMEND this location and would suggest going just about...

Got gel x nails here that were ultimately very cute and the tech was very nice. However, they only lasted 9 days before popping off. Poor quality for a very high price point. I’ve had drugstore press ons last longer than this. Save yourself the money and time.

UPDATE: I previously left 2 stars for this place, but I am changing it to 4 stars now. After my initial disappointing visit, the W nail bar reached out and offered a free set of gel-x to compensate me, which I really appreciate. I went in and had a new tech (I think her name is Rachel?) She was so kind and took great care to do my nails properly. She prepped these nails very thoroughly so they would stay on well. And they have! I've had this set for 4 weeks and they still feel strong and look great. She gets 5 stars in my book. Only leaving 4 stars now because I don't think its fair to take a shot in the dark with a random tech to hope your nails come out well. But I'll request Rachel next time to make sure I get a nice mani. Overall, pleased with the customer support and my second experience and I'll...
