Did the 12pm narrated sightseeing cruise. Waste of money. The boat takes you down the Cuyahoga River, but we turned around right by the Jacob’s Pavilion. I’m assuming because there was a big ship being led by a the boat coming from the other direction. I’m not certain though and couldn’t tell by any other reviews. So we turned around and went down Old River which is boring and just a bunch of piles of rocks/dirt. The narrated part of the cruise is recorded. It’s hard to hear because lots of people are talking. There was also wind factor (if you’re sitting on the outer edge), and the Coast Guard had planes flying. It only lasts for the first hour. Then you cruise back and along the coast for almost an hour until it’s time to head back. You are not allowed to bring any drinks (even water) or food. They sell both on board. Not sure of the cost, but the food looked like high school sports event nachos. They serve beer. There are restrooms on board. Free to roam about. Street parking is free on Saturday and Sunday. There is more parking along the street by the stadium. It’ll be about a 10-minute walk. Otherwise there are Coast Guard and SP+ paid lots that can be pricey.

The tour and ship were very nice, better than I expected, though it would have been nice to spend a bit more time on the lake itself rather than going up the river. The volume on the speakers was too low- it was hard to hear the tour information over the other patrons talking.

There were some patrons on the boat who made the tour less enjoyable- they were very loud and would smoke despite the ship crew telling them multiple times that no smoking was allowed on the ship- they would either hide the cigarettes or put them out just to light more once the ship crew went to a different level. I can’t blame the tour company for the poor behavior of the people on the boat, but the problem wouldn’t have been as bad if there were more crewmen stationed on the ship to stay on each level to make sure people were following the rules and not disrupting the tour experience for the other people on board. My family sat at a table on the very top deck, where one crewman could oversee the whole level if he stayed by the staircase.

The ship’s horn was extremely loud, as we were sitting very close to the speaker. A warning sign would have been nice, telling the top deck that a horn would blow periodically throughout the cruise, as the sound is much louder there than on the lower decks.

Overall it was a very nice experience, and worth the ticket price. I’m giving four stars because the bathroom door didn’t latch or lock, and someone had to stand outside the door to make sure no one else opened the door while someone was using it. I feel like that’s a problem that could be easily fixed with a slide bolt on the inside of the door, or something similar. Being a two hour tour with both food and drink available, the bathroom facilities are an important feature that should be...

Me and my daughter went on the trip today. The weather was not the best but we made the most of it. Lots of space for every one to sit and enjoy the view no matter if you wanted to be outside or inside. I was surprised that the restroom was huge and very nice to be on a ship, clean also. What I did have a problem with was the tables were dirty, the blue table covering was nasty and had food and god knows what else dripped down the sides of them, window ledge was very dirty also. didn't feel to good eating on them and we were on the lunch narrated cruise. Now for the food, I was not impressed at all and wished I had opted to eat prior to arriving and just went for the ride, the chicken was the worst of it, or at least I think that is what is was. It was white, seemed to be breaded at some point, and had dried up peas on top of some of them, did not look good, or taste good at all. I also could not drink the provided water with the paid meal as it tasted like water from a garden hose, like when I was little. I had to buy water. You should get acceptable water with a paid meal. There was also a family who brought an entire meal, their own bottles of water, full family sized snacks like chips/candy and canisters with juice. I thought there was no outside food and drinks??? No one said anything to them, no one staff member and plenty walked by them with it all laid out on their table. I however, had to spend an extra $40 on the food/drinks they sold because the food/drinks I received with the lunch they provided with my admission was not good. I would have loved to bring my own also. But I guess the rules are for certain people. I would go on another ride, it's fun, but I would definitely not be eating on...

My first time since I was a kid going on this cruise was on the mothers day brunch 2024. Boarding was easy u can use mobile device to pay for parking and look up your ticket qr code that was helpful. Seating was cramped and there were no rows to pass others seated at near by tables when moving on the vessel. The bar was congested even though they had 2 servers but one crazy line that was not made into 2. I love the live band aspect but the music was so depressing boring with no real correlation to the theme which was mothers day it would've been nice to have music everyone can enjoy not just country with a few others mixed in. The food was not like last yr from what I heard from my cousin who raved about it which is how I came this yr. The chicken was bland rubbery no season on anything although it was brunch it was no real thought to this menu it lacked fluidity of each item complimenting the other. Stood in line waiting for the dessert to be refilled it was a long wait for dessert trays so my already almost warm food was cold by the time I ate the best part was the bread ate 4 piece im sure if you check your garbage thats where most of folks food that was served will be. The bathroom recked prior to take off it was like a porta potty honestly. The view was nice weather was decent but the overall ambiance and meaning of the day did not translate will for this event. I left hungry and ready to jump ship from the music. Almost fell asleep listening to them yodeling. I would definitely reconsider attending next year maybe its better on a...
