We visited on a Thursday in mid-April 2025.
We watched the Great Bear Rainforest. It was very interesting. It was a documentary that followed the bears while also following a dad and son in parallel. Honestly I was so tired I may have dozed off a few times but the kids really liked it.
Tip is to sit higher up than you think. We sat where it would was perfectly centered on a preview screen but when the movie started it took up the majority of the dome and we weren't ready for that.
Overall it was a good experience we showed up like 15 mins early to get a good seat and we were the first ones in line. No on seemed to be in a rush other than us. There was a good number of folks in the theater for a Thursday morning. There were no school groups in the theater with us if that makes a difference.
We would visit again to watch a different show or their movies after dark sounded cool. The one for the night we were there sold out weeks...
Read moreNormally I'd give this place 5 stars. But for this particular showing of James hoods mesamerica.... You can't treat it like a "movie" it's an emersive experience... You shouldn't allow food and drink in for this type of show it ruins the experience when some drunk is dropping his beer bottles on the floor. And allowing people to enter 20 min after the show has started is totally ridiculous. And that was the last couple you let in. 3 other couples showed up between 715 and 730. The 2022 James Hoods Show was much better people weren't disrespectful or disruptive...
Read moreThe design of the theater is poor. Your neck will be killing you unless you're in the top few rows. I saw Mesmerica and it was redundant. It was like watching windows 98 screen saver and a kalidescope for most of the show. There were some short nature screens. The nature screens were the best. The music was average at best. The volume was too loud. I felt like the commentator was yelling at to relax as the show is supposed to help one relax....
