I had the Chirashi and some nigiri. I asked to sub whitefish for Hamachi, which they did with a smile (big points). I was hoping to sub out tuna but was convinced otherwise by my server, and I was glad for it. I normally find tuna pretty bland, but this was very dark with more bite. Excellent. Rice texture, often overlooked, was spot on. I wish the miso soup was hotter and richer, but its a quibble. The decor is modern in the original sense of the word, that is, really white and minimalistic. All the ambient light is very nice and allows greater appreciation of the pretty food. Overall, its hard to not be very pleased with this place. The price/quality ratio is as good as anywhere I've eaten this side of Japan and the servers are great. Go here if you love sushi. Actually, I think I'll get...

I've gotten a lot of sushi throughout the greater Cleveland area and to be honest I didn't feel like this was good value for the price. I understand the markup is probably due to it being a Downtown location, but if you like sushi you can certainly get more for less or same $, and just as good if not better quality, elsewhere. Sidenote: I was looking forward to the sweet potato rolls in particular as not all places offer sweet potato, but it was undercooked (should be either very soft or a bit crispy - this was neither). I also developed a stomach ache about 30min after my meal and it was all I'd had to eat up to that point in the day, so this just REALLY...

I've only had it once, although good, I noticed it was a small cup and it was full to the brim with ice taking away from the actual drink. Ahh whatever, I'll just tell them next time I order a drink that I would like half ice. I go back the following week and order two of them and ask for half ice. They tell me they only do one amount of ice - full . So they knowingly pack the drinks full so you don't get very much actual tea and won't let you get anything but a full cup of ice before putting a drink in. Seems really shady and I can't support a business that would do that. If you want great boba tea, fairly priced, and will allow whatever amount of ice you desire (hah) - go to Koko bakery - best boba...
