We recently had our son (and new daughter-in-law's) wedding rehearsal dinner (downstairs) in their Back Barrel Cellar. Living in Florida, my husband and I were a bit apprehensive planning this event from a distance. However, thanks to Kelsey (the Events Manager) the process was absolutely seamless! From our initial phone call with Kelsey (in October), straight through to the night of the dinner (in April), Kelsey consistently reassured us that the night would be amazing and she was SO right! Kelsey was always quick to respond to our phone calls/ emails/ texts. We even had the pleasure to meet Kelsey ahead of time (in March) when we were in town for the bridal shower, which personalized it even more. What impressed us most about Kelsey was the determination she showed when we described to her the desired atmosphere we wanted for the evening. Items that we brought from home (the Photo Slide Show, the Welcome Board) all became important to her and we so appreciated that! Again, many thanks to Kelsey for a very successful evening! Southern Tier was a wonderful place for our event. The food and drinks were great! We had a "buffet style" dinner which included appetizers, entrees, sides, and dessert (the appetizer favorite, were the beef & ricotta meatballs and the entree favorite, was the vegetable lasagna). Southern Tier is top notch! I plan trips for groups and am always looking for go-to places that my guests will enjoy. I recently brought a group of over 50 people to Southern Tier Brewery in Cleveland for dinner, and it was one of the best experiences, if not THE best experience, I have ever had with a large group. Kelsey, the event sales manager, was an amazing communicator from start to finish. She was detailed, knowledgeable, friendly, and so easy to work with. I felt comfortable and confident that my guests would have a good time with good food, but our experience was WAY better than that. The private space was accessible for my guests with a convenient bathroom nearby, and the food was hot, ready, ample, and delicious. The servers were the best I have ever encountered! Every time a server passed the buffet, they checked on it. Every time a server was near a table, they asked my guests if there was anything else they could get for them. From reservation to planning to the dinner, Southern Tier treated my guests as if they were special VIPs, and I cannot say enough about Kelsey, her team, and Southern Tier.
