Sierra Vista Mall, located at 1050 Shaw Ave in Clovis, CA, is a great destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. This mall offers a pleasant and convenient shopping experience with a good mix of stores, eateries, and entertainment options.
The mall is well-maintained and clean, with a spacious layout that makes it easy to navigate. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, making it a great place to spend a day out with loved ones. The variety of stores at Sierra Vista Mall caters to different tastes and needs, from popular retail chains to unique local boutiques. Whether you're looking for fashion, electronics, home goods, or specialty items, you're likely to find what you need here.
One of the highlights of Sierra Vista Mall is the entertainment options available. The Sierra Vista Cinemas 16 offers a fantastic movie-going experience with its comfortable seating, modern facilities, and high-quality audio and visual systems. It's a great place to catch the latest films in a comfortable and enjoyable setting.
In addition to the cinema, the mall features several dining options that cater to various preferences. From fast food to sit-down restaurants, there are plenty of choices for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal. Some of my personal favorites include the local eateries that offer a taste of the regional cuisine.
The mall also hosts various events and activities throughout the year, adding to its appeal as a community hub. These events range from seasonal celebrations to special promotions and sales, providing additional reasons to visit and enjoy what the mall has to offer.
Parking at Sierra Vista Mall is ample and convenient, with plenty of spaces close to the entrances. The mall is easily accessible from Shaw Ave, making it a convenient stop for both locals and visitors.
While Sierra Vista Mall may not be the largest mall in the area, its combination of good stores, entertainment options, and dining experiences makes it a worthwhile destination. The friendly atmosphere and well-kept facilities contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Overall, Sierra Vista Mall is a solid choice for a day of shopping and entertainment in Clovis. With its diverse offerings and welcoming environment, it's a great place to visit whether you're running errands, looking for entertainment, or spending quality time with family and friends. Highly...
Read moreI am providing reviews for Kohls and Target in particular. It had been 2 years since I had shopped at these 2 stores due to Covid. Just recently I have gone into these 2 stores and was so distracted by the stores being in such a disarray. Kohls had no order to the clothes on the racks. Clothing was on the floor….. The same blouse was also hanging in various other racks instead of being displayed together with various sizes……shoes on the floor….parts of shoe racks were sitting on dusty shelves….employees were dressing naked mannequins on the floor….
Then I returned to the mall just a few days later and went to Target and this store was worst than Kohl’s. There were piles of clothes on the floor. Hats were in various places throughout the Women’s Dept……tables of merchandise strewn about…not sure if the displays were for jewelry or accessories…..shoes strewn all over the floor and not on shelves….
I relied on these 2 stores to shop for something in a pinch. I don’t shop too much in person and do most of it on Amazon especially since Covid and now I am a bigger fan of online shopping.
So don’t know what happened since my last shopping trips to the mall but it was not a good experience…..to me, I feel a shopping experience should have a feeling of calm and peaceful but the stress I experienced made it difficult to focus on what I went there...
Read moreSierra Vista isn't as crowded as Fashion Fair, and that works both for and against it.
Shopping:
While there are some shared retailers between the two malls, such as GameStop, Victoria's Secret, and Bath and Body Works, Sierra Vista really stands out through its hidden gems such as Powell's Sweet Shoppe (right next to the movie theater!), Silkroad Gallery, and A to Z Cards and Collectibles. Parking is abundant.
Dining:
Sierra Vista doesn't have a powerhouse restaurant like BJ's to anchor it, but that doesn't mean that you're out of luck in the food department. Fresno newcomer Dickey's Barbecue just opened their second location in the outdoor plaza, joining Charley's Grilled Subs, Blast Pizza, and Rio Grill, amongst other restaurants.
Entertainment:
This is where Sierra Vista earns the extra star over Fashion Fair Mall. Sierra Vista Cinemas 16 (owned by the Santa Rosa Entertainment Group) is the major anchor of the outdoor plaza, and one of their biggest draws is that they offer $5 Movie Tuesdays. SVC16 is also the only theater in Fresno to serve Pepsi as opposed to Coca-Cola.
The old Gottschalks building is now the residence of the amazing MB2 Raceway, Fresno's only indoor cart racing track.
During the summer, Sierra Vista also hosts FREE ( that's right, free ) outdoor concerts in...
