Must Love Fabric — Attraction in Colleyville

Tons of fabric available - truly lives up to the name. I wandered around for about 15 minutes but would’ve stayed longer if I was not pressed for time on this first visit. I found a cute Ruby Star Society print that I’ll use to make a dress for my daughter and picked up a few notions.

There’s a large section of sale priced items in the back corner, and tons of notions and bag/quilt patterns available.

When I checked out, the person working was really friendly and asked about what I would be making with my fabric. She also mentioned classes are offered when I told her that I’m fairly new to sewing and that this was my first visit to the shop.

I mostly sew children’s garments and am not super interested in quilting, so I didn’t expect that classes would be offered here that I’d want to try, but she said they are flexible and can assist with pretty much any sewing skills someone wants to learn. I was overwhelmed with the massive amounts of fabric but looking around it really nice and cozy place to hang around. I was helped with the staff they were really nice and when i asked help they were really polite. Although i was dragged there i would recommend it since it has a large selection of fabric with them lined against the walls and shelves. they have a small selection for buttons. They also have sewing classes i believe and you can register at the front of the cash register it was on a table suggesting and displaying little trinkets. They had quilts and pieces people made displayed. I would recommend highly if anyone wants to make a quilt or anything to do with fabric they really are like experts in this store that could teach a thing or to and maybe give tips. If I could give this store a Zero rating, I would! I ordered 6 yards of fabric to make baby bedding and THREE weeks went by without any info from the store on when it would arrive. After 6 phone calls with very rude employees and the store owner, Phyllis, saying they would check with the vendor (which they NEVER did) they ultimately told me they aren't sure if they can even get the fabric so I'd better get it elsewhere. Not ONE simple apology through the process which would have at least make it seem like they care about their customers. I ended up buying the fabric online with no problems- it's really a shame to see small business owners not care about their customers and leave me with no option other than to order online.
