Wow, what a garbage experience. We reserved a 12 passenger van weeks in advance for an event and the day of the event they gave the van away to someone else. Absolutely ridiculous. Apparently they tried to call my husband that morning and when he didn't pick up, (which honestly, who answer calls from numbers they don't recognize?) they gave our reservation away even though we made it weeks earlier, added a payment method online, and even added every bit of insurance they had available. Will definitely not ever book with them again. What 12 year old are they leaving in charge to just change a reservation made in advance? They told him making a reservation doesn't guarantee a reservation. What does that even mean?!??! What's even the point of a reservation then if it isn't actually reserving anything?!?!
edit so they responded to this 1 star review with an offer to look into the situation. Then they emailed me a bunch of times with questions. Then they emailed me a form letter apology, thanking me to help them maintain "high standards" they claim to normally keep to. I responded that it seemed like normal operating procedure and probably how they trained the customer service desk folks. Now I keep getting automatically generated apology letters every time I send an email response. Just a few different variations on the same themes with different names signing off on each one. That's apparently the "high standards" to just let the algorithm of their shoddy AI program just send random form apologies over and over. The 1 star...
