1st time going there yesterday. Great experience, the pleasant and nice woman greeted me at the door listened to what i wanted, explained a few of my options that would get me better longer lasting results which is exactly what I needed and sat me with a very thoughtful nail tech. The reason I left the last nail salon I went to for the first time was because the customer service was so poor. I rushed, felt like a number, and the last straw was no real communication of the final charges. So when I get to the register to pay it was $130!! For mani pedi. I was new to Gel-X but was convinced to try it. At CK however what a refreshing story and difference. They tell me the costs in advance, explain what is included, assure me it will look better and did not pressure an upsell for services. I get to the register and the gel manicure was exactly what she said it would cost. No charge also to remove those Gel-X nails from last month at the other salon which took a lot of time. I appreciate how gentle the nail tech was with my sensitive nail beds. The location is also ideal. Sushi, Buffalo Wings, and even Orange Theory gym all right next door & directly across street. I kept looking out the window trying to decide where to eat when my nails were finished. Great overall Thursday night āŗļø. As a Ohio State University employee, I have found my new nail spot. Very pleased, and I will be a repeat customer for future mani pedi and local lunch...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this shop about a week ago. I was upset at my overall experience. I went there for the first time just to try it out, they told me i was a 10 minute wait, I was there for 40 minutes before being seen. There are no pricing in the shop so you have to just guess or ask. I asked for a full set acrylic, coffin shape polish. They guy that sits all the way in the front did my nails and he LITERALLY RUSHED THROUGH THE WHOLE THING, when it wasn't that busy to begin with. I felt so uncomfortable being serviced by him because he didn't talk and looked mad. All in all he ended up charging me a whopping $70 for the set. What upset me the most was that the nails were put on crooked. I know not all fingers are the same... But you can obviously tell he had glued them on all crooked. He did not let the gel dry off properly, I felt like I was being rushed out. A week later from now the Gel looks dull and it is peeling... I have never had this happen to me. The Walmart nail shop has done better job and for cheaper. This is ridiculous. Needless to say, I will not be going back there. The end product was horrible, please save your money and go elsewhere. First and last visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here for an acrylic fill today for the first time. I read the reviews previously and had seen the name Ann mentioned a couple times and how she had done a great job. When I got seated, I saw the ladyās name was Ann so I thought āgreat!ā. Well not so much. She was on the phone texting in between every action while I sat there waiting on her. When she told me to wash my hands, I sat there for a second to look around for the sink (again I had never been here and it was not visible from where I sat) and rudely she said āyes, wash your handsā. She never asked me if I liked them, she didnāt speak to me at all other than to tell me what to do and ask what color. When she was finished she put an oil on my nails. Iāve never had that done so I sat for a second just to make sure she was done and that I didnāt need to wait for that to dry or anything. She said āyes doneā. I said thank you and she never replied. I stood up, and pushed in my chair and thanked her again as I though she may not have heard me the first time however once again I got no reply. My nails are lumpy...
