I was returning from Boston and decided to stop and see a friend. She took me to see the houses in Historic Downton. It’s very beautiful and most of the houses have a sign with date. I think the oldest was 1810 or could have been earlier. Trees line the sidewalk and the houses still had Halloween decorations. I highly recommend visiting because there is so much history and the houses are maintained very well.
