I love the Bo Bartlett Center. They put on such incredible shows and draw amazing artists and their work to Georgia allowing me to see some of my absolute favorite contemporary paintings that I never thought I would get a chance to see. 🤩 We are talking phenomenal art, here! You don't even have to go to New York! You can leisurely walk down Columbus River walk and see Bo Bartlett's world renown work any time they are open, for free! You might even get lucky and catch a day when Betsy Eby is playing her piano in the gallery, perhaps next to one of her beautiful encaustic paintings. You could go to one of their monthly figure drawing classes... Also free! ( Thank goodness! Because the first time I was there I had $0 and was about to be homeless myself... but I got to see work from artistic superstars, who I had longed to see in person for years and it was an absolute light in my life) Bo Bartlett Center provides support and art supplies/classes to the homeless, as well as local school children. I am so excited to see what...

My kids and I would have loved to be able to watch them working but the area was understandingly of limits for safety. Also parents need to know there are some provocative and nude paintings upstairs in the Bo...

Recently, they showcased an excellent Russian realism exhibit, which I really enjoyed. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality art experience...
