My husband and I had the opportunity to host our son's 2nd birthday party here. Our challenge was to provide a party location that could be convenient to both our families, as they live far away from each other. We chose this location because it was midpoint between the two families. We were so impressed with the staff and their hospitality. The museum is perfect for a kids party. The party room was a great size for 30-35 guests. The party came with an Omnisphere Theatre Show (Sesame Street). The show was a little slow going, but the kids were excited to see some of their favorite Sesame Street characters. The party room included six tables and chairs. We brought our own decorations, however the room already had space themed décor hanging from the ceiling and on the border of the walls. There was access to a refrigerator to keep drinks and ice cream cool. We ordered pizza and had it delivered to the venue, which turned out perfect. There were simulators that guests could get into, artifacts, a gift shop, and of course the theatre. The location of the Center is right on the Riverfront, which made for a great opportunity for guests to walk the river after the festivities. Our son loves to run, so after the party we said our goodbye's to guests on the lawn out front. Overall, we truly enjoyed ourselves and our families enjoyed also. This place will definitely become our new family meeting spot. We can't wait to return and host many other...
Read moreWe had less than an hour, so didn't do everything. Still fun was had by school aged kids, teenagers, adults, and seniors! Definitely recommend as a family experience. The simultors, plasma machine, green screen, and heat sensing/infrared camera were really fun! The gift shop had something for every budget from $0.50 on up to pricier fare $6 astronaut food, and such. Definitely worth stopping in! We have a museum membership that includes the ASTC Passport Program, so admission was free. It is a reasonable $6- $8 otherwise. If you're near Ft. Moore, do make the stop, especially if you have kids! Also...
Read moreWonderful place to learn, experience, and be with family. The science center works hand-in-hand with Columbus University but civilians are allowed access inside through a small fee. My children want to go back as soon as we left, it was a 4-hour experience for us, but for a smaller location there is a lot inside to read & view. The parking was free, the lot was spacious but very dark, watch for low ceiling. Restroom sinks could use some drying every hour as they were full of water when we used it coming and still wet in the way out. Definitely going back when we get another chance in our calendar. Thanks for...
