The Cosmetics Company Store — Attraction in Commerce

I visited this amazing beauty store on August 10, 2025 (Sunday). Despite it being a Sunday with lots of people around the outlets, there were almost no visitors inside the beauty store itself. This allowed me to spend enough time inside, test the products available, and decide what I wanted to buy as well as which items I would come back for in the future.

Among the brands I love and that were available there: TOM FORD makeup + fragrance (30% OFF), Too Faced, M.A.C, Estée Lauder skincare and makeup, Bobbi Brown skincare and makeup, and Jo Malone fragrances.

I also noticed an option to purchase a mystery makeup bag for $22.95 (before tax). The contents were a surprise, but the promised total value was $51. I don’t know what was inside, as I decided not to purchase this option.

Another offer was 6 mini-sized samples for $16 (before tax).

I’d also like to highlight the pleasant store staff. A male staff member helped me understand the prices of TOM FORD after the discount was applied. A female cashier explained how I could get an additional 10% off.

There were no issues with security either. The security guard didn’t follow me around the store, he stayed by the entrance...

First time in the store today. And the sales associate WENDY M and the CHUBBY FAT girl was SO RUDE. I couldn't walk around the store and feel comfortable without them asking every 3 minutes if I needed help, do you need a basket. A basket for 2 items?If I needed a basket I would've picked one up when I walked in. I understand you make not have many people of my race enter your store, but racial profiling is WRONG in 2023. I will NOT be returning to your store. This was my first and only purchase, and I didn't want to buy, but I needed the product. I will take my business elsewhere. It's a shame if your skin color is NOT that of there's, it's a problem. If that's the case then DON'T carry brown skin products and maybe you won't have to tailgate your customers during their shopping experience. I have been waiting to come to your store for 3 months. I was SO excited to be there. You totally ruining my day and the experience. Thanks alot Wendy...

I want to leave a full complaint on the Commerce Ca location. This store is the worst fully of disgusting rude employees. First off as a customer I shouldn’t know the latest gossip with the associates and what is going on in the store. It’s beyond unacceptable and unprofessional for upper management to be leading the conversation of your associates drama on the sales floor. Second they offer no customer service just standing in the back by the register talking about customer in Spanish. Third not a one has any type of knowledge to offer cause when asked they don’t know. This type of customer service tho seems to be the culture Estee Lauder keeps in this location. As I have looked your store has plenty of negative comments in the last past few weeks and nothing has been done. Once’s was a loyal Estee customer but at this point rather shop the drugstores instead. This whole team needs to be trained better or fired from upper management...
