Visited Triveni Supermarket during a trip to Charlotte, and it’s a decent stop for Indian groceries. The store is well-stocked with fresh vegetables like okra and green beans, alongside a solid selection of spices, lentils, and halal meats, all at reasonable prices for a specialty market. The fresh chapatis from the in-house bakery were a highlight—soft and authentic, great for a quick meal. Outside, a vendor offered sugarcane juice and tender coconut water, which were refreshing. The weekend crowd was a drawback. The place was busy, and the checkout process was disorganized, with three counters but two separate lines, leading to a 15-minute wait. The staff was polite but seemed stretched thin, so visiting on a weekday might be a better bet to avoid the chaos. As for the food counter, we decided to try a few items and we got the medhu vada, egg puffs, and samosa chaat. The medhu vada was crispy outside and soft inside, just how I like it, though it could’ve been a bit warmer. The egg puffs were flaky and flavorful. The samosa chaat was tangy and spicy. Overall, the food tasted good, but it wasn’t perfect—probably a 3.5/5 for me. For the grocery experience, I’d give it a 4/5, but the food counter brings it down slightly to a 3.5/5. Averaging it out, Triveni gets a solid 4/5. It’s a reliable spot for Indian groceries and a quick bite, especially if you’re after fresh juices or chapatis, but plan your visit to avoid peak hours. Parking was also a but packed on the weekend.

Had visited Triveni supermarket for late afternoon snacks, ordered Chai, Vada pav, Onion Rava Dosa and Chicken Burger Sandwich. Chai - was ok, nothing special like how we make at home, very milky and bland. Vada pav - was a disgrace to all Mumbai people. The potato filling should have tadka, less besan should be used. Onion rava dosa - was ok, nothing special about dosa Chicken burger - didn’t taste fresh, no flavor. Overall wasted $25 dollars and 20 mins traveling. The store itself has limited items, nothing like Patel or Indian wholesale stores. Will try the biryani next time..

I dined in at Triveni Supermarket with my kids, excited to try their chat items. We ordered Pani Puri, Samosa Chat, Pav Bhaji, and To-Go Ragda Chat. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The taste was bland—1 star at best. The Samosa Chat was missing the samosa, and the Ragda Chat was lacking the ragda patty. The only redeeming factor was that we ate chat, which at least provided some protein, but even that was tasteless. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. Would not recommend tuesday chat nigth.

Triveni Supermarket is one of the best Indian grocery stores I’ve been to a true one-stop shop for all your Indian cooking needs. The store is always well-stocked with a wide variety of fresh vegetables, Indian dals, spices, rice, and pantry essentials. Whether I’m looking for toor dal, chana dal, basmati rice, or curry leaves, I always find everything I need in great quality. What sets Triveni apart is not just the variety but the freshness and organization of the store. It’s easy to navigate, and the produce section is always vibrant and clean. Their shelves are packed with regional brands and specialty items that cater to both North and South Indian cuisines. One of the biggest highlights is their in-store kitchen. The food is absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and authentically Indian. I’ve tried their biryanis, curries, and snacks like samosas and vadas, and every dish has been spot on. It feels like a taste of home. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. If you’re looking for a reliable Indian grocery store with amazing food on the side, Triveni Supermarket is a 5-star destination...
