I have been a customer with this store for many years and always give them any business I can because it is a locally owned store as oppose to a national chain, despite many mistakes they have made in the past , I try to forgive and support small businessmen. Recently I lost my engagement ring which they have set the diamond and sold me the setting as well as the side diamonds when I upgraded a few years back. When I ask Aaron to give me a written estimate with all my GIA certificate and his own store receipts , I saw a side of him that truly disgusts me. He actually have the nerve to say if he would only give me a verbal estimate, and I should ask the insurance company to just send him the check. Well needless to say that is the last time I will ever go or recommend him to anyone. To top it off, I found a diff independent jeweler and they gave me a written estimate base on the documents I provided and sold me a setting with literally 8 times the diamond ( total weight of 2.5 cwt ) vs1 color e/f for the same price as Aaron's setting I lost with 1/3 carat diamond. So be careful folks, all that pleasantry is only for show and I am glad I found out as I got a much nicer ring with 8 times the diamond and the FL flawless 2.4 CWT center diamond one is on its way from D and R diamond in summerlin as we speak. I know he is claiming I try to commit fraud but the pictures tells a thousand words. the invoice from the NEW Javda jeweler in Los Angeles for my replacement setting is clear and detailed, Aarons invoice from years ago is vague and misleading. He hand wrote the cost on a photo copy of the setting this time but refused to write it in paper with his name on it, which is something that the insurance company would accept, maybe he is the one trying to commit a scam? All we wanted is to make a legit insurance claim with whatever he can provide and isn't it strange he cannot provide anything other than a scribble number on a picture when we presented him with both GIA on the center diamond which was placed by his people in his setting and we presented the invoice for that also. He certainly got caught and trying is best to slander the prosecutor to gain credibility for his sleezy operation. anyone who wants to know more, feel free...
Read moreincompetent is the word I use when it comes to watch service by this place. I have a chrono watch by Ferrari for years and sometime I set the chronometer for timing and forgets to turn it off and reset it. That cause the battery to run out and when it does, you have to reset the second hand as well as replace the battery. My wife took it to this place for a new battery and reset and they charge much more than my usual watch place which is M&I on spring mountain. M and I cleans my Rolex, Roger Dubuis and Franck Muller ( all $20,000 to $35000 watches that I wear daily unless I am riding a bike or working in the garage then I wear the Ferrari chrono in this review) ) but because my wife was in the area she took it to Aaron. After she came home with the watch I notice the second counter hand was still stuck at 5 o'clock position instead of 12 o'clock. I ask why and she inform me the watch according to these people is defective or not re-settable which ever the case maybe. I took it to M and I and they rest the second counter hand in literally 10 seconds!!!! seriously and these jokers sells their own band of wannabe watch and that is how little they know about a chrono watch? Anyway we no longer go there after this and another recent bad experience, as they say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! expensive on watch service and clueless is a bad...
Read moreBeware of this jewelry place and their people. I brought in a $4000 jewelry/tennis bracelet bought from Costco that is GIA certified that I would’ve wanted resized with them. I come in and despite the certificate, they claim that my 14k white gold is chrome-plated because it’s so shiny even if certificate doesn’t say anything about it and that if they resize it, it will turn black. The bracelet is actually rhodium-plated. They didn’t even examine the jewelry closely. They refused to give me a quote or resize my jewelry. No jeweler has ever done that to me. I have bought multiple jewelries from costco and resized and never had issues. I’m sure they were trying to do that because they want me to buy from them instead or Idk maybe they are just plain rude and even dares judge a jewelry they didn’t even examine closely. No, thank you! Rude and disrespectful people, even on the phone before I came in. That’s why I have heard of so many bad reviews and a bad reputation about this jewelry place and I should’ve listened. I still attempted cause they are close to my house and my regular jewelry place is closed for 2 weeks to reopen at another location and couldnt wait. This place just proved that negative reputation today....
