I was so stressed out and i thought i need to visit a salon to make me feel better. The day before i visit i went and see the place, ask how they do the pedicure, and the lady on the front desk was so certain of saying yes and assuring me that ill get the service i needed or want. so when i went to visit i was very excited to finally pamper myself, i did my pedicure first and omg i was surprised that she barely touch or clean my toe nails, didnt even bother to see if theres dry skin or clean it very well.. and when she finally asked if i decided which color i was shocked and told her "oh thats it? Arent you going to clean, like dig in and look for dry skin? She just answered, "its not good to do that" she also said that she can clean more, but i didnt let her, i felt that she didnt wanna do it, she was being lazy and i can see that she has lack of knowledge and cant please and satisfy clients of her service., and i ended up canceling the manicure..i feel i can clean my nails better than her. I still left a tip even i was very upset, but while leaving i just want to cry and i was very salty, and regret leaving her a tip, she didnt deserve anything, not even a dime. I went back the same day coz i cant think straight of how disappointed i am with the service but unfortunately they were already closed, and that leads me on writting this review. The lady's name is pina or pinang. Lesson learned: dont be decieved how the place looks, great services...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAnother great service!! - That was my comment about a year ago. I have loved this salon and its technicians. I faithfully came here every three weeks for over four years, ever since I moved to Noryh Wilmington from Newark. I had been apprehensive about having to start the search from a scratch and felt so fortunate to have found this gem.
I like to think that I tipped generously; I gave monetary gifts for technicians' special occasions, I paid for a week of summer camp for a technician's son. I knew everyone's name and was friendly with all of them. If I was running late, I would call; if the technician was running late I would wait without complaining. The previous time I had an appointment, the technician was 30 minutes late. Nobody has offered to get me started with another technician.
Well, this past Saturday, I was late for my 9:00 am appointment. Alas, I have not called. I rushed in at 9:10 am, anxious and apologetic. The technician I had an appointment with already had someone else in the chair. I was told the salon's policy was to wait for no more than 10 minutes. I walked in at 9:10 am! The service was already in process! I walked out, anxious and exasperated, dreading to have to look for another salon.
Does loyalty no longer mean anything? Is a client no longer valued and coveted? Do businesses no...

It looks so messy to the point that it looks like a snowflake. As we were in the process of the nails she was asking if it was good, mind you they were upside down and she was holding my fingers blocking it kinda so I just said yes, that is my fault that I didnāt actually look. But if you can see that it looks NOTHING like the picture have someone else do it or donāt say that you can do it! Going along with the āflowerā the tails themself are see through. You can see my actual nail just by looking at them, now this is a easy fix on my end but if Iām paying good money to get these done and give you a picture and your looking straight at the picture Iād expect them to look pretty close. There was a lady standing over us for the whole duration of the flower portion and the French tip portion talking to her, Iām not too sure what she was saying but she would have my nail tech wipe the polish off with her finger and restart. I wasnāt too sure what was going on, if she was new or just wasnāt used to doing French or even any designs but these nails...
