The store manager also does sales. He has no clue how to run this place. I was working with one sales lady who had a question and asked the manager , whom immediately took over the sale (taking away from his employee which was my first red flag & unsettling) he assured me I could pick up my item on Thursday when I arrived he was not there, there were no notes. Thankfully Dave the warehouse manager got everything squared away got my item loaded & I was on my way. He had good customer service skills, was efficient & handled the situation with ease. I am a manager, I have 45 employees. I do not take over sales, I encourage and help my employees as a manager should . This guy is money hungry which is great for a sales manager or sales person but NOT a Store manager. You should never make promises to your customers if you have zero follow thru. Especially if your not even going to be there!! If you want this store to succeed you’d be better off with a employee like Dave running the store. I’m remodeling my home and furnishing my home ,I will not go back to this store with Mike (I believe that’s the managers name ) in charge ... I have a $50,000 dollar budget to furnish so I would say you have officially lost out, as I was planning a large chunk with...
Read moreWe purchased a large, heavy Mondiana (83”) sideboard from Dania Furniture and paid for delivery and setup. Unlike past purchases, we were never informed that the item would arrive fully assembled. Although the sideboard fit through the doorway, the delivery team couldn’t manage the weight and damaged our door frame in the process. Rather than taking responsibility, they refused to continue unless we signed a waiver—after the damage had already occurred.
When we called the manager during the delivery, they deflected blame onto us for not knowing the item's dimensions—though that wasn’t the issue—and offered no real solution. Instead, we were told we’d be charged a 10% restocking fee plus non-refundable delivery costs if we refused the item, leaving us with no reasonable option.
We were pressured into signing the waiver, and my husband ultimately had to help carry the piece inside to prevent further damage, as the two-man team was clearly unprepared to handle the delivery on their own.
Despite spending over $20,000 at Dania over the years, this was by far our worst experience—marked by poor communication, no accountability, and dismissive customer service. Do your research before paying for delivery and setup; it’s not worth the hassle. We...
Read moreDon’t buy furniture from this place! I’ve waited two weeks for delivery even though it was in stock, and on the delivery day, they showed up and had NO idea where the couch was. They gave me a number to call where no one could be reached, just kept getting their voicemail. So I finally called Dania and they claim I cancelled my order and that’s why there was a mix up. I NEVER cancelled it. I wasted my whole day waiting at home when I should be at work.
The woman who sold me the couch called me back and was all nonchalant saying “let’s get ya rescheduled, the next availability is February 6th. “ which is two weeks from now. I’ve already waited two weeks, so I asked if I can just cancel it. She then scoffed and laughed and said “ha! Do you really think you’re going to find a couch by next week?” And I said “well I’m not doing business with people who lose couches.” And she said “well I just don’t see how you’re going to find a couch by next week.” In a sarcastic tone. I gave her my card info and she said “alright I’ll take care of it for you. Okay bye” I never got an apology or ANYTHING. So unprofessional. Do not work with Cindy from...
